Watched the first episode. It seems decent. Certainly better than a lot of recent cartoons. I don't think I'll watch the rest though.

It's a cartoon, guys. Nothing more, nothing less. Unless you decide to mosey around town dressed up as your favorite pony, no one is going to know or CARE that you watch it.
Watched a few more episodes, it's growing on me. They picked a good group of voice actors.

Because that's how it starts. But oh, it grows to even worse levels. First you're watching it, then you're fantasizing about it, then you're having "discussions" about background characters and giving them backstories, then those discussions end up being about FUCKING those characters, then you're going to McDonalds and ordering a happy meal just so you can get a fucking god damn piece of plastic shit pony.
Then you reach the final stage, enlightenment.
