I originally came into this thread thinking it was a gimmick topic making fun of the show, and might be a good read. Reading that the creator made Foster's made me rethink my view on it. Reading the descriptions immediately reversed that.
While it may be too gay for my liking, I don't see why people have to attack those who do like it. Different people like different things. And as for disturbing fan-made material: That is the case with every piece of media in the history of the internet. Not one show/book/movie has been left untouched by obsessed basement virgin fans. Doesn't mean a show about ponies will be especially disturbing, or frequent.
