And whait a minute, you never thought they could actually be sarcastic in those "serious" songs?
wow u call urself a tru limb bizkit fan? thos songs are NOT sacastik ok?
i don't even understand how people can actually like limp bizkit
i don't even understand how people can actually like limp bizkit
What do you like? Maybe I can say the same, you know it makes no sense to say something like that. The whole world is filled with these arguments, how about you try to see it from the other side and find something other people might like about things like this which you can't understand. Maybe that's part of growing up? to understand? I really dislike when threads like these get trashed because such sentences and comments. Post a Slipknot thread = flaming and senseless replys. Everyone sees that this thread isn't an attempt at trolling, it contains lots of information and is well made so why can't people be so nice and keep their own very important opinions for themselves?
God do I fucking hate Limp Bizkit. Fred Durst is such a unlikeable cunt with an annoying as fuck voice.
They are a fucking blast live. I was at one of their gigs and it was the best shit ever. Been waiting for the new CD for ages now. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] Holy fuck that Gold Cobra song is kicking rad! That basssssssssssss

i only heard their cover of the who's behind blue eyes. they completely ruined it
This is one of the rules in the Music section: "If you don't like the band posted, tell the op why - don't just reply "This band sucks I hate it." Let's be civil." Well some of you guys disliking tell why but really nearly none here is respecting this thread or is civil. For once I try to defend a thread like this, not because I like the band but because it feels so unfriendly of nearly everyone here posting the same shit over again. You guys almost made the Thread maker quit. Let's be grown up ok? Yea the bass really kicks ass in this album it's really something I never heard in that frequency form on Nu-Metal. I think the drummer and the bassdude made the whole album, I am a sucker for that sound :v: Wish fred would have more originality than "OOHHH YEAaaaa" for that heavy part later in Autotunage. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] Wes Borland also give interesting riffs, you really can hear him out with his tones, sadly it feels a bit rushed! On the earlier albums LB had really much changing parts and little accents that made them really outstanding. What I mean is something like this: Intro Verse 1 Chorus 1 Interlude Verse 2 Breakdown Bridge Chorus 2 Outro Now it feels like it's almost only about intro, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, end. But the sound makes up for it, for me atleast :buddy:
Listened to a bit of the new album. Bring It Back is the worst track ever. Gold Cobra and Shotgun are cool. edit: and why try
My favorite song by them is All Star
Thanks Darkslicer for actually keeping me in the thread. Now lets get to some real dicussion in here! I really like the Unquestionable Truth (part 1), when Wes first came back to the band but John Otto had drug problems :S... The lyrics Fred made for this Limp Bizkit "side project" are really good, serious and deep. And the sounding is very different from Limp Bizkit style. When Gold Cobra news started to arrive, I was hopping they would go a bit further in to this serious state. But after listening to the album, I was happy they were able to bring back the style of nu-metal from the 90's! After geting disapointed with the recent Korn albuns, and hearing about Rage Against the Machine break up, this album was something that made me happy. After listening to bands that my father used to listen when I was a kid, like Queen, Dire Straights, Pink Floyd. Limp Bizkit was the first band that I found out for myself and like I said in the OP, They are the reason I have a band today, even though our style is nothing compared to them, they will allways have my respect, understanding and a place in my mp3 player.
"Holdin’ the gold, it’s gold, It’s so golden y’all, golden cobra" -Fred Durst
Oh shit I need to check this album out.
"Holdin’ the gold, it’s gold, It’s so golden y’all, golden cobra" -Fred Durst
I was talking about The Unquestionable Truth Part 1 EP I really like the lyrics on "The Key" "[Verse] You know, I lost my place a long time ago About fifty fucking rhymes ago I'm wrecking again I'm seriously considering checking myself in Locked inside this key chamber There's millions of keys inside But only one can stop my anger And I'm not fading away, so I'll just have to die [Chorus] Unlocking the doors in my mind How many doors will I find? I think I got the key I guess I'll just try another if that's the key Unlocking the doors in my mind How many doors will I find? I think I got the key I guess I'll just try another if that's the key"

It's not that bad considering what the band was going through on that time.
"Holdin’ the gold, it’s gold, It’s so golden y’all, golden cobra" -Fred Durst
If you don't like them why are you posting here?
he's telling the OP why the band sucks
he's telling the OP why the band sucks
Bjork is music for faggots. I don't go around waving that flag to any Bjork threads.

Made this a long time ago: It's one of my very early instrumentals for an album I was working on and suddenly I noticed that Nookies acapella would fit and mixed it together! Turned out pretty well haha  Tell me what you think guys! This is over 2 years old. [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] It's also a remix of Break stuff, later there are the break stuff "Break your fucking face tonight" and the whole bridge part in it :v: fits in perfectly haha.
/general hate.
Gold Cobra was an epic album!
Also OP, you forgot Sam Rivers from the lineup.
Completly forgot him... :S
Made this a long time ago: It's one of my very early instrumentals for an album I was working on and suddenly I noticed that Nookies acapella would fit and mixed it together!
