• Leasing a car - pros and cons?

That's not really a given..
Only lease the vehicle if it's something you wouldn't be able to afford through financing. aka don't lease a Toyota Corolla - lease an Avalon. Payments are lower than financing, but they also require a TON of money down ($2-4k sometimes). Of course, you don't have to worry about maintenance, and you can always take advantage of lease buyout options if they're available...
Stop suggesting fucking american cars that aren't sold in the UK. He didn't even ask what car to get
Get a Corvette ZR1. Do it.
no one except patriots who scream "buy american!" like american cars bro
Buy a Peel: It might be small, slow, unsafe and unstable but its cheaper than your civic, uses less fuel, is a legal road vehicle, it's special , it's British AND you can take it into your home/office since its only 59 kilogramms. http://www.peelengineering.co.uk/store_cat.php?peelstore=4 But on a serious note I would buy a car, maybe a small cheap model like a Peugot or something. Or ask people around you for advice on leasing or buying a car (not only on facepunch).

I may not have worded that very well, but really, It's not that big of a deal. People are jokingly suggesting some cars, and people keep getting bent out of shape when anyone suggests anything that isn't European/cheap. It's all in good fun. If you really don't want us to suggest anymore then get the thread locked since Garry got what he asked for when he made the thread anyways.
Leasing is an excellent option. You have to understand what you're getting into though. If you don't have the money, don't lease. If money isn't an issue (or if you have a steady stream of income) then leasing is a good idea. You have to remove your heart from the equation and look at this logically, you're not buying a car, you're buying transportation. You could ride a bike, take a bus, or train, buy or lease a car, etc. You spend money on all of these things. If you want a personal car for your transportation, awesome. You pay a certain amount each month for transportation. It's higher priced than the bus or train, but you get one hell of a sexy, personal ride. And that's cool. Another good thing about leasing is that it helps build your credit. Paying your car payments every month for a few years will really help you out there, and it gives you a good record. If you ever need a loan, this will help tremendously. Buying a car is unnecessary really, unless you want to keep a car forever and sell it cheaper a few years later. Once your lease runs up, you can buy the car for cheap from the company anyways- why would they want an old, used car?
Guys, Garry owns a business, if you haven't forgotten. I'm not sure what the rules are in the UK, but in the US you can write off leased cars as business expenses Leasing sounds like a perfect fit for you, if you ask me
but he could get a murcielago and register as a taxi and not pay the congestion charge or whatever

Get Volkswagen Golf.
Drop a Honda GL500 engine in that little puppy.
Naa just put like an engine form the ninja 250. You wouldn't need much horsepower to make that thing really fast.
