I would absolutely love if the new Microsoft Flight game basically used this as it's world. It'd be beautiful. I don't care how many people thing it'd be used for terrorism or some shit I just want to fly a little plane near my house.

I looked into the technology behind this. C3 is a subsidary of Saab and this technology has been used fore the military a lot. I remember seeing a show about how they used very similar tech for a mission.
The accuracy can get down to meters (they say cm for the depth data) and if they wanted it could be nearly perfect looking.
