Busy with life, in general. Glad to know I've been missed, so to speak.
Of course. Where else would people spam you with the word faggot and tell you your opinions are incorrect. Just saying, that's essentially what all debates on Facepunch lead to.

Would you look at that. half expecting someone, if not necessarily you, to tell me they're not going to look at that
Rapes. Guys are too horny.
So then gay guys shouldn't be in the same unit as straight men?
Sure.
You'd never see any women on a submarine. Why? Because 150 males in a crammed underwater vessel working 14 hours and having no privacy whilst having no sex for weeks is such a great place for women.
I think women should be applied in the army as either support groups or drivers/gunners. Mainly because they'd be useful as army engineers and medics(duh), plus with some support from male counterparts both of these jobs would be effective. They could also work out well as radio-(wo)men and snipers. They'd also go well with driving vehicles, such as tanks and helicopters, since you don't really need to drive straight and wait for the green light. Most of the women I saw would rather drive off roads, slower, or bigger vehicles. As in tanks, trucks, jeeps etc. I think women would be a good part of the army, but only in certain things. Places such as submarines aren't made for women.
No. They should stay at home in the kitchen. :smug:
Yeah sure. They'd make good sandbags. :v:
The female skeleton can't handle the stress of front line soldiering. Some of the best have tried and failed, if i'm out on the field i don't want to be relying on a person who is less capable then me, it puts the whole team down. Plus women are liable to getting raped. I got my facts from the Royal Marines, just so you know i'm not talking out of my arse. I'm not sexist, it's biology.
yeah
And you like men. .
I declare you a homophobe. :colbert:
What country are you talking about? In most countries (except islam and some other) women can join military, in some they cant go to front lines but thats a different story.
But...women do join the military.
I can't imagine why anyone would ever oppose this.

Same requirements as men, yes. Like, there's no real 'debate' on this.
of course! =)
They should be able to do what they want as long as they're trained.
Why not? Gives us more troops :woop:
Remember keep it a structured debate. Also I will not post any of my opinions, as it is all up to you FP to see if you can handle a simple debate.
It's quite clear what your opinions are...
Read my post
I read it, it's silly. You're overlooking a lot of things, such as other divisions of the military where the über physical fitness you speak of is not necessary and the fact that a physically fit women is entirely capable of lugging packs and traversing obstacles with superior agility. You also make it sound like a woman's 'fragile skeleton' is going to shatter from the shockwave of an explosion. Dumb. I would not join the military, but the airforce would be my branch of choice if obligated. Do you have some kind of problem with women in the airforce?
Yes i do think they should be allowed in army.

The fact actually is, is that a women can't handle weight as much as a male, and over long distances will actually do damage to them selves (40 miles plus). Mentally obviously women could do it, but only a women pumped full of testosterone could do it. Like i said, some of the best women have tried and failed, due to their inferiour skeletons.
Can you provide any past examples of these women who have failed to complete their duties in the frontlines due to their bisque skeletons?
No, what i'm telling you is words from a captain in the Royal Marines, he didn't tell me names, just said that the Royal Marines has had people try, but they always failed. A good example is the Foreign Legion, Susan Travers a women, managed to get through their vigerous training and is the only women so far to do so. This tells us only a very rare and talented person can do it and that they have tried previously.
Imagine her in combat.
Given training, women are ferocious warriors, one bimbo doesn't cancel out the whole sex.
And maids.
Don't.
Well that won't matter in the future when we all become cyborgs
Yes. Just not in any combat specific roles. I remember reading an article about an exercise the British Army did with women in combat roles, and they found that their male counterparts were MUCH more concerned over their safety than they would have been if there were fighting alongside men. Which distracts them from the fight, and puts everyones lives at risk. That, and they just can't handle the same physical strain as a man. Anyone who tries to say otherwise is just being naive.
