I've started moving it over to Starbound, it will take some time though and I gotta be up early tomorrow so it might not be running until tomorrow evening.
I came in here wanting to play Minecraft with some DD bro's but i'm game for starbound as well.
I would love to download the Minecraft server map we had going, if ever possible.
I'd still be very much down to play the Minecraft server, but recently it had been like playing singleplayer because no one was every on (when I was at least, I don't know about at other times).
A starbound server would be great. And I'm sure the people who want to play it but don't have the game yet will be able to land a copy if they really can't get it for themselves for whatever reason.

Okay, seems more stable now. Me/Zach and Scorpinat are playing, also on Skype if anyone wants to join us there.

I'll leave the server up 24/7. We had about 6/7 people (still have a max of 20) on at once before and it ran okay, although there were some issues with lag. Now I had trouble accessing the hosts website so it might be a problem with their internet or it might be that we were hitting the memory limits as the memory status was literally off the graph.
With Minecraft they gave me the option to increase the amount of memory the server had (at extra cost) but with Starbound they don't offer this. Maybe this is due to Starbound being relatively new in terms of multiplayer but for the moment there is literally nothing I can do to increase the performance.
Overall though I am paying £13 less per month now that it's running Starbound which is great. I'm going to purchase a 4 pack of Starbound and I'll raffle 3 of them on here for DDers who don't have it. Rate this post optimistic if you want to be in the raffle.
I think given the amount of stuff there is to do in Starbound this should last longer before dying out, at least that's why I'd like to think.

The server died out so I moved it over to starbound instead.
Hey, a sort-of farewell message to this thread/server.
I've cancelled the subscription for the hosting so it's no longer alive and kicking. It was alot of fun whilst it lasted though and I personally made some cool friends from it.

It's vanilla survival, just like this one was and it has a decent playerbase too. I'm also an admin there so it's a plug in some ways.
