I don't think that's the point. Cisgender just refers to someone who isn't transgender (i.e. gender and sex are aligned), it has nothing to do with being a 'real man' or 'real woman'.
cis is a latin prefix meaning basically things on the same side (same gender and sex in this case), trans is the latin prefix for the opposite, things being on different sides (different gender and sex).
So it's a scientific-ish word, like homosexual and heterosexual would be the more scientific terms for gay and straight etc.
