No, that just means you're not insane.
Coming form personal experience of course.
Idiots either never knew or cling to what little fact they did know. (based on idiots i have spoken to)
If i ruled the world everyone would be put through higher level education. If you fail the tests you do it again until you pass.
Why?
Because i believe that if mankind were smarter as a whole the world would be a better place.
I envisage a world where we have irrigated the deserts and explored the depths.
Where the secrets of this world have been unlocked and we have begin to move on to lands unknown.
Imma stop now before i hijack the thread.
OP Needs to read Catcher In The Rye
OP Needs to read Catcher In The Rye
this, actually.
OP should join a band and write emo lyrics.
What a shallow prick.
Sorry for the vulgarity, but this is pretty elitist.
I totally understand you, OP. Being a teetotaler myself. The masses (especially those of our age) give in to all the poison, usually because they can't handle the peer pressure. Don't try confronting them, it's in vain. When they call you names though, don't be offended. We're "smarter" after all.
Try defining yourself. Just visualize your motives and remember them, maybe recall them every time you act according to one. My main thing is self-awareness and the ability of having total control over yourself and all that belongs to you. My body and mind are a tool, my tools for life, and i wouldn't want to degrade them needlessly.
So you can respond to their troll with a brief explanation of you way of life, and ignore the rest. If you're lucky, it could spark a constructive and rational conversation with someone and you both learn from it.
God I hop this doesn't count as a meme reply, but I just had to make it...

This is a good part
OP is arrogant as fuck
I also love how guys who can't get a girlfriend try to debunk "love" as "nothing more than a chemical in the brain". Lonely much?
And I love those of you who judge a man by whether or not he has a girlfriend.

"Its perfectly safe to have 3 in intelligence"
"Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else."
That's all I have to say.
I feel like I've posted this in a similar thread before. Too many unique people I guess.

Compared to the masses, there can be unique people. People that don't fall in line with everyone else.
Thinking with your dick is the best way to completely fuck up your life.

Sex and handshake in the same sentence gives me a funny feeling in the dick.
Yeah of course, the are a few unique cases. This image illustrates my point.

So? Just because we're all the same doesn't mean we have to acknowledge that fact. Revel in your illusions!
I consider myself fairly intelligent but I would never consider myself above people, everyone always has something to teach you. I'm friends with a lot of 'dumb' people but that doesn't mean that I look down on them, one such friend gets below average grades in everything, isn't the brightest kid around and certainly doesn't have that much common sense but I love listening to him talking about drumming and music which he is extremely good at. Another person in a similar situation is simply great at street art which is also interesting to listen to and watch.
I don't smoke, do drugs, drink alcohol or anything like that because I do not see why I should but I do not consider people who do stupid, immature or wrong. If they want to make those choices then they can make those choices, it's their life to lead and who am I to say that my chosen route in life is the better one of the two? I've been told I'm a very mature, intelligent lad whereas those friends have been constantly criticised but does that mean that I'm better or living the 'correct' way?
Everyone goes through a phase in life where they think they are more mature or intelligent than their peers and that they are unique. When you're truly mature and intelligent these sort of things will not even enter your mind most of the time. I'm not an emotional person, I'm a very logical person and I find it difficult to relate to those who let their emotions take hold of their thoughts and actions but again why should I consider myself superior to such people simply because I take the more logical route.
I'm not saying that it's wrong to think that you're better at certain things than other people, I'm certainly a lot more academically talented than the average person and I acknowledge that but I also can accept that while I may be talented in some areas another person is certainly more talented than I in other areas like art and music for example
I'm not sure how much sense this post made or if the point I was trying to make came across well but I thought I should make a post anyhow. I could very well sound stupid or the like but I'll never learn if I don't make some mistakes and hear of them.

I try to look at people as is they were all the same. That quote just represents my views. I mean I would not talk down to someone who might be "below" me, nor would I suck up to someone "above" me. After all we're just all mere humans

Just to clarify, I don't talk down to anyone either. I treat everyone the same, as I said, I keep most of these feelings inside me (there's a difference in being straight forward, and pouring your life story on everyone you meet).
Compared to the masses, there can be unique people. People that don't fall in line with everyone else.
If there's one thing it's that 90% of great minds are very perfectionist and don't admire themselves at ALL. Both aren't characteristics of the OP...
[editline]12:10AM[/editline]
Also degrading love to a chemical doesn't get you anywhere. It doesn't make you 'smarter' and you also shouldn't treat it like some chemical...
I'm gonna be a grammar nazi for a second here: That term is spelled like "sugar coat" not "sugar code".
Anyway, I agree with about half of what you're saying. The other half, as you said, is pretty conceited.
Emotion is what drives us to the edge, it's what takes us to the top.
You can't just exclude emotion.
You know what feeling of accomplishment, that's an emotion, and that's what makes you want to succeed even more.
Love is a lot more than "a chemical"; It's a fantastic journey, of which nothing else can give the same effect.
Feel the love maan
Don't become a machine, Japan's constructing them already. OH BUT WAIT THEY'RE ADAPTING
EMOTION TO THEM TOO
[editline]11:27PM[/editline]
It is also evident by you're posting style that emotion is taking control over you.
Easy to control eh?
People act on love, so, what is love (baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more)? A chemical in the brain. So why do people have such a hard time controlling their brain? Well, because people don't know how to be mature mostly. Love isn't exactly real, it's just a chemical. I've been in a couple relationships, and I've never really felt heartbroken. I mean, it sucks going back to your old lifestyle before meeting them.. But people also get emo and depressed (I will bash depression later, because that's the kind of awesome guy I am). I've never been able to understand "fairytale love" and how people believe in it. Sleep is a chemical, but we don't believe in a magical fairy that puts us to sleep.
Loving your family is different, you grew up with them, they raised you, and took care of you, assuming you had a good family (doubtful, sucker). Love for your family should be unconditional. But for a person you met, love doesn't exist.
I feel like relationships take incredibly mature people, not people who let emotions control them. I hate when my girlfriend tells me she loves me. I can't stand it. Like all chemicals, the effect will go away. Don't waste your life thinking it will last forever. You have to force yourself to be committed, and if you're not mature enough to put up with it, don't expect it to last.
I agree with a lot of what you've said, but love is definitely a powerful thing for most people. Perhaps you haven't found the right person, or you're just not letting yourself fall into it.
If you don't understand love or what you call "fairytale love" you obviously aren't experienced enough. You're right about people doing things to fit in and that smoking is stupid but you just need to learn to keep your business and opinions to yourself unless you're asked for them.
Live your life and fuck off. (If you're trolling this still applies)
OP is either a master at trolling or he is serious about his ego problem.
And I love those of you who judge a man by whether or not he has a girlfriend.
We're not judging him by his lack of girlfriend. We're saying that people who claim that "love isn't real" or is just "a chemical in the brain", have obviously never experienced love and are sad people for assuming that just because they haven't found it means that it doesn't exist. Especially something as obviously existent as love.
Also, I'm pretty sure OP isn't a troll. He wouldn't be defending himself so much if he was. He's legit. Which is worse.
I consider myself intelligent, but I don't feel like it separates me from others. Hm... maybe i'm not as smart as I thought.
