Wait, if you can do a wall handstand for 1 minute then you can do a free-standing handstand. You need to know how to balance. Lots of people don't realize that the only way to balance is to use your FINGERS. Just dig in the ground with your fingers and try to keep balance. Remember, always lean a bit forward as if you're about to fall, but the only thing that prevents you from falling are your fingers. Good luck, 5 months ago a was very determined to do handstands, too. Once you get 'm, you want more :D. Or just... point your wrists on your side...

Just try a lot, you'll fall often (but after a few times you know what to do when you tip over and you won't hurt yourself). Learnt handstand in about 3 months or something
I should have rephrased that, I could not lift myself into the handstand :v:. I've been doing wall push ups and sit ups, I'll try again every once and a while to see if I can do it yet.

Also guys my current 90 degrees push-up attempt:
What sit-up sets do you guys do that compliments push-ups and jogging/running.
I made an examplar for the people who would like to learn the handstand: Next to that, I tried to do some muscle-ups. They're pretty cool to do, never really trained on bars.
Reporting in: I've made progress, my biceps have clearly gained more muscle, I still have to flex to see them but all in all it's not bad.
What sit-up sets do you guys do that compliments push-ups and jogging/running.
I do 2 reps of 10, but then I'm not very good. I'd experiment if I were you. I keep getting stitches in my side when I'm running, but I only seem to have this problem if I do sit-ups, or anything that works the chest area before I run. Edit: I changed my Avatar, but it didn't seem to work..

Nothing, there not gaining any. Anything I can do to work them?
Nothing, there not gaining any. Anything I can do to work them?
Pull-ups would help.
Got back to running 4 miles. and it felt so good
Ah.. I ran to my free-running training yesterday... I hate running :(

What are the most used muscles in a headstand or a handstand? Trying to figure out why I can't do either of them.
Fores and deltoid, probably lower back mussels? It's probably just your balance.
Yeah probably is... fuck my long-ass legs
Yeah probably is... fuck my long-ass legs
Shoulders for handstand and neck muscles for headstand. Legs shouldn't really be a problem. But balancing can be a real bitch.
A day before I had like a 3-lb beef cut rib and I just ran 4 miles without getting any pains or whatever, I just ran it. I love protein.
Gained 7 lbs
when i was a 208 lard ass i could do a handstand. not much strength to it. all about balance
when i was a 208 lard ass i could do a handstand. not much strength to it. all about balance
Then you're doing it correctly. Lots of people think it takes lots of strength but that's not true. I wish it did take less balance and more strength.

Started gymnastics training this morning. Goals are not hypertrophy or aesthetics in general but for strength. I do realise strength goals can be achieved faster with weight training but that'll come with time and money. For now, I'm enjoying what calisthenics has to offer - flexibility, strength and balance. My log: http://www.gymnasticbodies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7359 Nice stuff Rago. That 7lbs you gained, what % of that is bodyfat?

Now I'll be focusing on my planche again. Doing sets of 30 sec tuck planches. I would do more seconds but that'll just increase my endurance and not strength. I hate holding advanced tuck planches because my wrists hurt afterwards. I can hold them for 20 seconds, when I really try.
