cardio and calisthenics are two different things.
Cardio works your heart and lungs and muscle endurance
Calisthenics tones everything, works on balance and overall body control

That's p good, bro. Reminds me of my diving days. If you want to have a cleaner landing you should extend and jump up for a little longer and then throw your legs to you arms which should be relatively straight up. Throw harder and wait a tiny bit longer before you throw the flip.

hmm i am an expert gymnast with a black belt of 8 years on my belt i suggest you jump up and look backward without using your arms, it helps much better don't worry if you land on your face, just keep doing them until you continue seeing black, then keep doing more

You do not want to flip with your head. Your neck muscles are not going to be enough to throw your body around. Your going to want to do as I said:

I was the captain of my high school dive team and had the opportunity to dive for one of the best dive college teams in the US. I was in the top 10 out of my state several years in a row. I know what the fuck I am talking about

It should perhaps be in the progress thread, but since it's calisthenics anyway I don't see why it wouldn't fit in here.
Btw, calisthenics should help with your rotator cuffs since most of the beginners exercises are pretty much therapeutic. What you can do is start with the easy stuff, even though the exercise seems far too easy, and progress to the next exercise in 2/4 weeks; it will be very easy, but it should help.
