I meant stenght ratio, not strenght
no such thing it's called being anorexic
Tone up
what jaeger said
Toning up is another way of saying losing fat. If you want to tone up, eat less.
Not even that. It's just eating right. In fact, I would argue that in order to tone, you'd eat more frequently
toning=cutting afaik
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You still want to eat a fair amount or your body will be more prone to store fat. You just want to eat foods that are low cal, carbs, etc.
Then we agree.
Estoy de acuerdo, muchacho!
i like that 3fatchicks source

Thanks for the help guys. I'm 155-160 lbs right now. I've got a decently muscular build, and dont really need to get any "bigger". If I eat the right foods, along with doing the body weight resistance exercises, will I just get stronger and remain pretty well the same size?
ye if you like cns adaptation ( in a month youll come back whining about how you arent getting bigger)
What is this "CNS Adaptation" you speak of?
Central Nervous System adaptation i.e a fancy term for what people call "getting stronger"
If you say so. I got sources where it does say it does tone up, but okay.
Toning is such a lose phrase, it could mean anything
I just fell. I didn't have enough strength any more to do a half planche on the parallettes and fell but quickly threw my right hand in front of me out of reflex and my elbow went into my ribs. But I'm okay, I should recover in a day or 2. I'm going to practice backflips now. Hopefully I can land them!
~Oh shit~ [editline]13th April 2011[/editline] Do it!
Ffs, they guys of the gym didn't show up so we couldn't enter the gym!
Me doing a half-planche/handstand pushup: Could only do 1 full one, gonna train harder now!
That's somewhat impressive except you didn't go all the way down and extend all the way up. You still have a lot more balance me, though. Good job.

And yeah I know I couldn't extend it all the way, I nearly lost balance! Anyway, I learned to press up to handstand, so I'll be trying to improve my balance! Today I'll be practicing Binsky's method with the backflips. I already tried it and I can land easier now but I can do even better!
Today I'll be practicing Binsky's method with the backflips. I already tried it and I can land easier now but I can do even better!
Improved a bit and I can now hold the advanced tuck planche for 12 seconds. I'm going to train very hard from now on!
Just started my climb to Planche-Pushups with the Frog-Stand. I found it hard more so with the balancing aspect rather than my muscles feeling too stressed to hold my weight. I was lucky to keep it up for over 2 seconds. Do you guys have any tips on other things I can do along with this to work my way up?

Once you can do 20 normal pushups, move a bit down to your hips and everytime try 20 until it's impossible to go further to your hips.
