Sure your not just drinking enough water?
Drinking a gallon minimum, usually more.
I'm looking for some good music for my workouts -- I think this was discussed a while back but I don't feel like combing through pages for it.
Most of the playlists on Spotify are usually either rap or unpleasant screamo (with some occasional good metal in there). I'm looking for motivational stuff in the rock, heavy metal, and even pop genres that doesn't sound too generic.
If you guys have anything good to share, please drop it by me, thanks :v:
I listen to EDM when I go, the fast tempo gets me going, there are some out there that match my heart rate and I just get more motivation to lift harder.
EDIT: Also, anybody know what are the major checks that you need to do when bench-pressing? I know to keep feet on ground, shoulders tense, bar above eyes when on the rack and grip straight, but as I push up, one side still gets higher than the other.
Just bought the trainer, #1, and #2 CoC trainers.
Damn expensive at $74.37 but hopefully it will be worth! they said regular strong guys start with the trainer so hopefully it isnt too light.
GONNA GET FOREARMS LIKE STOVEPIPES DAMMIT

i had many issues with bench press but the one you mention is what bothers me currently and would also like to know about it
just happened again, few minutes after i got done eating and its like a floodgate opened up.
You got sensitive nose. Not much to do about it, talked to a doctor about it?
get a humidifier? maybe it's just dry where you sleep
dl 180*3, 185*3 then 180*3 again. Last set was a bitch and not clean at all but it got up, used straps even though my grip is more than strong enough, and I think my problem is I was gripping too wide when I didnt have straps on so it was throwing my form off completely. Going to try strapless next time round with a narrower grip, should be fine. Might max out next week see if I can hit 200

also bw remaining at about 85 or so
snatch technique takes a while to get down huh
I found my snatch technique started to come on a lot from doing tall snatches (like a hang snatch but you barely go down), and lots of overhead squats.
Kinda wish I handnt stopped snatching, its going to take a while to relearn
Was wondering why i could almost do a muscle up then i weighed my self, im only 235
snatch technique takes a while to get down huh
Can you identify what issues you're having with it?
And yeah, as Cathal said, tall snatches and overhead squats will definitely help. I personally found though that complexes help even better. Complexes are "complex" variations to the classic lifts, such as pulling to the knees x2, snatch x1, hang snatch x1, overhead squat x2. That's just one example, but yeah, the point is to breakdown the movement so you isolate parts of your technique that need attention.

That's the funny thing, had the same problems halfway through last winter, its humid as shit almost every day now and it just started back up.
Anybody here own a FitBit?
i write on paper/type all my calories and macros down, no cost, and wrist heart rate monitors aren't that accurate. Really no point in knowing your heart rate when lifting or sprinting.
Hie spess
Anyone here /own/ a FitBit?
My mom does? What do you want to know?
idk i guess they're neat but holy christ those fitbits are expensive, hi.
Ugh didn't start back lifting until 4 months ago, seems like increasing OHP is even harder than before, stuck at 150 lbs.
Hey guys, its been a while since I posted on this form. I was wondering, does anyone else get tendinitis in my knees? I've had it in my left knee for 2 years and recently got it in my right knee 2 months ago while doing sprints. Ever since I got it in my right knee I've been warming up longer (something I should've done years ago), doing thing such as foam rolling, more stretches for my quads and such.
Someone told me to take glucosamine every day, and I've been doing that for a 2 weeks and it seems to make a difference in my joint pain, but who knows. I was just curious if any of yall have tendinitis, and if so how do you deal with it.
Tendonitis master here. Used to never have any issues with my knees, but the last year or so has been brutal on them. Recently i started doing a number of things to help my knees. I warm up longer to get blood moving in my knees, i flex and stretch my knees out throughout the day a lot, i wear kneeves during any exercise even remotely i involving knee flexion, warm up and keep loose between sets, and take glucosamine and chrondritin and fish oil in large amounts. Sometimes rest isnt enough, especially for higjer caliber athletes

Oh and more hamstring work, its the same theory as strengthing the elbows with bicep curls. And massages, moving the knee cap around breaking up scar tissue
anyone know if the banned jack3d is still going about. site i used to get it off of is finally sold out afaik

it is so fucking expensive now, plus bidding against other people is like fighting other crack addicts for crack
$127 fuck that.
9 bidders aswell. i thought i was bad.
Might as well buy pure meth and cocaine as preworkout for those prices
Even buying the "Secret ingredient" from Jack3d at the darknet markets would be 10 folds cheaper
I've decided I'm running a 5k in October. This gives me 8 weeks of prep time. I've never done a 5k before. How should I train? I can run a mile in 7ish minutes, but after that I get super winded. I'm 186 lbs of pure love and an inch away from 6 ft tall.

More mileage. Your body needs to be conditioned to run further distances. Try to get a specific mileage down per week and just increase it the next.
Up on your carbs and drink a lot more water.
Cardio is 4 nerds
I liked cardio when I was cutting
Now that I'm bulking I've started to really dislike it
Meh
So I decided to jump the gun on my benching. I added 20LBs extra to make it match my bodyweight (155LBs) and see if I can get away with 5 sets. I only did 2 before my form got compromised and my strength began to wave. Did the last 3 at 150.
Happy to say I can bench my bodyweight, even if it was for a few sets, but it'll be another week to truly build to it.
