Hey guys, its been a while since I posted on this form. I was wondering, does anyone else get tendinitis in my knees? I've had it in my left knee for 2 years and recently got it in my right knee 2 months ago while doing sprints. Ever since I got it in my right knee I've been warming up longer (something I should've done years ago), doing thing such as foam rolling, more stretches for my quads and such.
Someone told me to take glucosamine every day, and I've been doing that for a 2 weeks and it seems to make a difference in my joint pain, but who knows. I was just curious if any of yall have tendinitis, and if so how do you deal with it.
cold/hot shower therapy does wonders
Watching through the Train With Kai series and it's p great, some good mind/muscle connection tips and stretch/contraction stuff.
i'm avoiding cardio because heavy squats + running on asphalt = exploding knees
should probably get back on the bike tho
Or walk
Anyone here tried yoghurt, oats, goji berries, hennep grains and honey for breakfast? My mom bought it for me and it tastes absolutely great.

Sounds too complicated
I'd rather just slam some peanut butter down my throat
Had my gf over yesterday while I lifted cause I needed a spotter, it kinda put me out of the zone and I ended up missing a lot of my targets by about a rep.
On the other hand I hit a weighted pull ups pr, 30kgx4 @ 86kg bodyweight, and I thought her how to squat. She's tall and she got long femurs tho so its going to be a while before she can go deep.
Anybody know what good short term goals are for a female lifter in terms of squat, bench and deadlift?

I'd do that but I'd die instantly.
1000 lb club! 190 kg dead (could go 200 clean but im sick today no excuses though so im gonna test it again next week), 155 kg squat (again, probably 160 even 165 though that might be a stretch) 110 bench

depending on bw and short term, 1 or so x bw squat, .5 or .75x bw bench, 1.25x bw dead

not researched or anything just noticed this from most numbers I've seen from girls who train
being short/ having short femurs is good for squats, deadlifts are kinda good but my arms aren't long. 165 cm tall.
So I dropped two pant-sizes. From 32 to 30. Fits snug especially since I have big thighs for my size, doesn't need a belt and I don't have my guts spilling over like cream out of a pastry tube. I still fit small t-shirts quite comfortably, problem is I apparently have broad shoulders and my arms still look like sticks in comparison.
I need to do more curls.
Honestly the worst fucking problem with clothes is being so damn tall. I'm easily more than a head's length taller than most other people, and one of the tallest people at my gym. It's a problem because I have to choose between shirts that either fit kinda-tight and make my upper arms look big but barely go below my belt buckle and so I look fucking stupid, or buy a long enough shirt that is really fucking baggy and I look fatter than what I am. Finding a shirt that actually fits my dimensions is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I think we can all agree that tees are not designed for human bodies, and that whoever is making all these fucking tees in the global market is not from this earth. People that are 5'10 have issues with tees. People that are tall have issues with tees. People that are short have issues with tees.
At least you won't ever have to deal with being too short for women.
Hey at least being shorter makes your dick look bigger. Otherwise being short as fuck is a tad annoying.

I... Never thought of that advantage. What usually comes to mind is not hitting your head in doorframes.

Nah I deliberately skip leg day so that my legs don't get big and therefore my dick looks relatively bigger
[sp]fuck I forgot I'm on a break between squat sets as I type this[/sp]
nothing wrong with breaks as long you don't hog shit for others and you get your lifts finished on your day.

Thank god it was midnight and the other rack was free. I like how during the day the gym is populated by average people and then at night there's always this large Asian family that goes. I wouldn't blame them if it's because they feel nervous lifting around other people, reminds me of when I started and only did nights.
For shirts I find ones that are one the baggier side are the better choice. For me a large is tight bar the odd shirt that fits perfect (tight arms and chest, loose around the waist) but 90% of the time the neck hole is way too small. XLs always fit nice and if you have good shoulders/traps plus a decent chest it still shows you lift while not looking like you stole your little brothers clothes.
6'4 225 for reference.
AEO used to carry athletic fit plain crew and Vneck Ts with a big chest-waist drop and slightly larger armholes, used to fit me well, albeit I'm not huge.

I wish my gym did nights. During the day there's too many people at times and you have to wait around.

24/7 is pretty much the norm for gyms here. Still gets bad in the mornings and at around 5PM. I wish instead of having a million machines that we'd have a third rack, because at those times you do have to wait for one.
Just started at the university
Hoping this week of drinking won't ruin my progress

I can't drive most cars because I'm so tall. My knees don't fit under the steering wheel.
Hell I can't even ride passenger sometimes.

i hate the t-shirts they make nowadays. they're all slim/long and feel weird as fuck
most of my shirts are old so they're much baggier and thicker, feels so much nicer
I prefer those longer t-shirts, a problem I have with a lot of old t shirts is that they dont go far enough down my torso

Anyway, knees we're kinda sore going into squats today, they're even worse after.
I'm not sure how much more of this I can take. (but then again I've been thinking that after just about every volume day)
I'm on week 11 of texas method, I reckon I'll stick with it for another 3 weeks before going full oly.
Today was a lame day at the gym. My bluetooth ran out of batteries. Failed a set while benching 150LBs.
May need to backtrack to 145LBs. Form is probably compromising me. Hopefully I can progress beyond just a pl8 and a 2.5lber on each side.

dont be too hasty to drop the weight, could just be a bad day at the gym
As of today I'm at 37 1/2kg squat (sumo), and trying to push past 45kg bench, it's starting to become a little harder than just "3x10 lol up weight next sesh". Maybe I'm not getting enough sleep, or not eating enough protein or something. Maybe it's because I'm on a cut. Shouldn't really think about it
Lost 20 pounds since mid June, it's starting to become a little noticable, one or two people have said things. No real milestones yet, just pressing on for now

Also discovered chicken thighs today. Fuck me are they good, are there any downsides compared to breasts though? I can get away with the increased fat, it's only carbs I'm worrying about
