Good luck
I found a gym near my new job. £17 a month, and it has a lot of free weights and 2 SQUAT RACKS
I'm so happy I can get back into lifting properly now.
Are you guys morning gym-goers or afternoon gym-goers?
went to emergency room, turns out I have mono
no weightlifting or strenuous exercise for 4-5 weeks
thats just great

Or hanging leg raise maybe
I probably can't do that either. I really need that surgery.
I'm looking for a weight gainer supp. I looked into that "mammoth mass gainer" that Valon Kyre mentioned but it seems its only available in canada. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I used this: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/opt/sm.html
the pro complex gainer one which is in the right column. I think it worked pretty good for me and the chocolate flavor I used was bearable, but I've heard good things about the other flavors.

I also feel the need to say I regretted buying it, not that it was a bad product, I just feel I could have gotten better bang for my buck just spending extra money on food. I understand the convenience aspect though.
Gonna have to find another gym for Stronglifts, because the one closest to me (more of a leisure centre with a gym) has nothing to rack barbells on, and you can't adjust their weight or use an empty bar either. So the only way of doing bench is the one smith machine, and I can't imagine the lack of racks being safe at higher weights for squats/OHP. The entire room is like 50 treadmills and some weight machines except for the few free weights in the corner.
Stairs after squats are fun though, and need to work on my barbell row form, couldn't seem to keep my back straight enough.

These "gyms" are the worst.
damn this actually sucks
I got ready to go to the gym thinking that maybe getting some blood flowing would make me feel better, then got to the door of my dorm and realized that I can't lift. For 4 fucking weeks.
reminds me of the last time I broke my arm
feels like shit brah
Did prowler runs. 20 second sprints then 1 min 40 sec rest, whilst walking around constantly between sets, no sitting down.
Managed first set ok, heart was beating like a hammer. Second set was really fucking tough and I felt like I was at my limit, heart was a constant throbbing in my chest. Third set, I was dead on my feet and couldn't focus due to how exhausted I felt. Had to excuse myself to go to the toilet as I genuinely felt like I was gonna puke and felt like a panic attack was gonna happen, it was honestly such an awful feeling. I was meant to do one more set but the PT knew I hit my limit, and I said "I hate being negative, but there's no fucking way I can do another set". Spent like ten mins in the bathroom throwing cold water on my face and dry heaving, it was very unpleasant.
Really not looking forward to prowler runs ever fuckin again. I have them once a week and this was my first week. God damn I hate them.

Just take it easy. It's better to take time off to get better then train and get worse. Try not to think too much about it or you'll just feel worse.
What do you guys think about tanning? I'm super pasty white in the winter and I enjoy getting a pretty good tan during the summer, but I have a few friends who are really anal about tanning and its negative health effects. In my mind the extra attractiveness it adds to your body is worth the trade off of getting skin cancer in your early 50's. I would say tan me is x2 as attractive as pasty white me.
Some sun ain't dangerous but lying in a sunbox isn't better.
I got somewhat natural tan but being Swedish turns it into somewhat grey. During summer I get a really nice color that fits my hair.
I go tanning a couple times a week and so far the only result it's gotten me is more people thinking I'm gay tbh. I think I look way better though so it's cool

I used to be a pasty mofo, I just biked shirtless a fuckton in the summer and it was steady enough that I didnt burn and still got a good color to me. Nothing wrong with it just dont go overkill.
As for massgainers I've only used mammoth mass and Mutant Ass, the mammoth stuff is pretty good, the mutant ass just put on a fuckton of fat and tasted like shit.
As for flavors just get vanilla because its neutral enough that you can mix it with any other flavor of protein and it will still taste good.
I dont know much about mass gainers, if you are to get one make sure it has as little sugar and saturated fat. The cheap ones you really get what you pay for, mine lasted me 3 weeks(?) so for $80-90 thats a pretty good trade off for the caloric/carb value it has. Honestly saving $20-30 for a cheaper massgainer isnt worth it at all.
I tan extremely easy so I made it a challenge to be vampire-tier pasty after this summer
time to sit inside all day woop

but why
tan > pasty
Pale skin is only really nice on women. Men look bad with pale skin.

to lie in a fucking coffin and pretend to be the guy from twilight obviously

Took that shit everyday with milk, half scoops cause the scoop was freaking massive. Not so sure about fat gains, but hey that's a part of bulking.
First time bulking I went with GOMAD diet. 1 Gallon milk a day and now that I think about it fuark I'd love to do GOMAD with a massgainer. Nowadays I just stick to real food and counting my calories instead.
I went to a local gym today and now I feel like a proper bitch again. In my High School gym I'm used to being one of the bigger guys if not the biggest. It's like I'm a freshman all over again, some of these guys are huge!
haven't been to the gym in two months, starting back tomorrow
can't wait to get strength back, my forearems have become noodles
I do not understand peoples love for tanned people. I find it far less attractive.

You put on 44lbs? Damn, what kind of time frame are we talking and what kind of results could a guy like me expect with this "mass gainer" and who do I have to call ;) ;) ;).

I've gained ~10kg in last 13 months just by having two lunches on a lift day. F*ck mass gainers and shit if you have access to warm meals and a full fridge :p
I've gained 10kg in last 3 months by eating a shitload everyday, and drinking lots of milk
