(who is actually natty)
Tough to say because most people who are famous enough to be known also use drugs to maintain the physique that made them famous.
However, I actually don't think it's too far stretched to say Elliot Hulse is natural these days. Sure, he juiced in the past and therefore some of the shape his muscles have developed might have stuck around, but his physique is still attainable naturally IMO.
So I had this conversation with a friend of mine about gym...
"Yepp :D so happy! I am so unhealthy without the gym"
Me: "If you wanna get started I can message you my routine to work around with."
-Conversation kinda goes on with me sending him basic workouts to try-
"Ehhh I'm probably just gonna chill while working out :) light hearted and fun is what I'm trying to learn :D thanks tho. Yayy new workouts to add."
:why:
"Chill" "Work out" Pick one.

In other lighter news, I somehow inspired a few other friends to start going to the gym. One asked about how I managed to get my abs to show. The former did go for a few weeks, but he kinda tapered off back to eating out every other day as evidenced by his Snapchats.
I guess I'm inspiring??
I need to kick my ass, need to train as often I did in maY. two days per week is awful and I've lost 2kg instead of gaining which means my progress is getting too slow for my liking.
These mods got me fucked up, guess I gotta watch my back round these parts.
In other news made some terrible decisions this weekend, probably gonna not drink this weekend, at least not as much. Still haven't smoked weed for over 4 weeks, actually feels pretty good. Definitely feel better in the gym. Benched 275x3 whilst 228, so thats good. Knees feel fucking great too.
so the legends were true
push press really does help your OHP
officially confirmed
Finally hit 1pl8 on bench, dl and squats, bench was the only one remaining, feels so good
How long did it take to you guys to reach it?
when i was just starting out again in march 2014, it took me about 2 weeks to get to 60kgx5 bench
but i did do 3 months where i went from about 40kg to 55kg bench 2 years before that
here's my progress on bench so far:

also if you look at 2014 you might get an idea why you shouldn't stick with an ss-like routine (gslp in this case) for too long, compare the rises in the graph then and in the last 4 months (ppl). the current stall is due to cut
Anyone else have problems with their elbows barbell benching after a certain weight? 215 starts hurting a bit, but dumbbells at my gym only go up to 120, sucks.

are you retracting your shoulder blades properly, are you flaring your elbows out too much or are they closer to your body, do you lock out too much at the top, are your wrists in the proper position
How do you guys like to progress on your accessories?
I just pick a weight I can handle for two sets, and then lower it for the 3rd due to form breakdown.
Used to just stick to the same weight I started with and disregard form.
Squats tomorrow bois, been sick (still am a bit but w/e) and cutting to make the 83 class so not anticipating any high numbers, gonna feel out 140 to see if I can go back up to ye olde 155.
Started to do paused squats. Decided to do 155LBs and practice from there. Even when I just do a second at the bottom it smokes me. :v:

Always retract my shoulder blades properly, never have any trouble with that. Elbows are tucked close in, hurts even worse if i flare em out. I lock out only briefly at the top, and my wrist positioning is good. It's always when I'm pushing from the bottom that they hurt.

3 sets of 8, then next workout 3 sets of 10, then next workout 3 sets of 12. When you can do 3 sets of 12 with solid form then it's time to up the weight.
Had a foam roller for months now and neglected to use it.
Recently through a combination of work and squatting, my knees are a little fucked and painful.
Just foam rolled all over my leg and around my knee and I can squat ass to grass without no pain, although my surrounding muscles are sore as fuck.
hoping it works over the long term
fuck everyone outside this thread fucking nerd faggots
lol what happened

If you're not training for powerlifting, just give it up for a while then and see if that fixes it. Tons of other exercises train the chest so you can supplement those in and see if rest fixes the problem
What do you guys think of PPL's over Upper/Lower Splits?
I'm doing a PPL and progressing nicely (6x a week), but was thinking it might be time to change to an Upper/Lower so I have time to actually study, and to get a little bit more strength.

I've been focusing on weighted dips more for the last few weeks, get a better pump in chest/tri's than bench. I'll cut bench for a month though.

I fucking hate being 230lbs man. I really do. As much as I love being lean-ish and relatively attractive and not having massive amounts of facial fat its just not me, I've been fat my whole fucking life and if I don't bulk up to 270 and get strong as fuck and hopefully make nationals I am not going to be satisfied with my athletic career later on in the in life.

Is taking aspirin before working out a bad idea?
It's an old-school thing. I think people stopped because it generally has no positive effect, not sure if there's a negative one.
Current Body time.

Put on 10LBs so now I'm 165LBs. Eating a lot more, pretty much just put away the food log and began to snack more and pack more carbs. My little 4-pack is still there, but I need more meat on the arms.
Seems like you need to continue to eat more. Strength should always go before looks which I should punch into my own head 'cause I eat like shit and my abs are fading but honestly as long I get a good chest and good numbers in DL I'm happy.
Funny enough I actually notice better numbers when training about 2 days a week instead of 5 but I guess getting rested mentally and physically helps a lot. Probably will continue this because I will be way more sad if I sink in my numbers than in looks.

Blood thinners + putting pressure on your cardiovascular and muscular system would be a good way to increase your chances of (severe internal) injuries.
uwot m8
Lifting heavy will always be more impressive and more fun. Looks is visual and what fun is that if your numbers are shit?
