I took 2 days off to repair (first one was intentional, second one I didnt have any contact lenses and I HATE liftin in glasses) and the last two days after coming back have just been SLUG! Almost like im there because i have to be there and not because I want to be. Hopefully I pick up, maybe its just I've been eating to much too soon before the gym and thats slowing me down (when you eat your body draws blood and energy to your core making any activity hard) Still sore after the gym anyways.
Hey, does anyone here in the States eat insects? I'm not sure about a safe source to get them prepared or how you can prepare them yourself. What's a good way to get into that?

I've been running (and keeping near 1800 calories a day) away my skinnyfat for about 6 months, and I went from 135 lbs down to 118 lbs. I'm underweight since I'm 5'11, but my plan was to lose the fat and then start lifting. I'm just wondering if my sudden drop of weight is going to detriment my health. I'm 16, so it probably didn't effect much.

Just started lifting in the past 3 months or so. I've seen some improvements already, actually have pecs now, my arms aren't as skinny, my shoulders feel alot fuller. FEELS GOOD MAN
Why do you hate lifting in glasses?
the only time I hate lifting in glasses is for cleans. That shit just flies off my head. [editline]9th February 2015[/editline] no matter how much you're lifting, you'll never look hard if youre lifting with your glasses hanging from one ear
Mine is like they're glued on. If you have metal frames with those rubberfuckers on your nose then I can understand if they fly off.

Get some quality glasses - I've been lifting for a long time and glasses has never been a problem. Glasses should have a hard time falling off, they should stay on even if you're upside down. The fuck kinda cleans are you doing if they fly off your face, are you inducing a seizure while you're doing it or shit bro
Idk brah i wouldnt want to be cleaning anything relatively heavy wearing glasses.

They are actually really tasty. Only have had the cheddar cheese flavor, but it taste more like Cheez-it than some sort of weird crunchy bug.
They are actually really tasty. Only have had the cheddar cheese flavor, but it taste more like Cheez-it than some sort of weird crunchy bug.
appropriate avatar when it comes to discussing eating larva

I've been slacking so hard lately and it's pissing me off. It seems like I'll finally get into a good routine for about a month then something fucks it up. Training my friend has really slowed me down, but I've honestly gotten some decent workouts out of it. Doing squats for the first time in like 2 weeks today, and I know I'm going to be mad sore tomorrow. I really wish I wouldn't have agreed to this, and just continued doing my PPL as usual. Friends and the girlfriend getting in the way of lifting blows.
Breathing techniques during lifting? Sounds like a lack of oxygen flow. I personally have trouble remembering to breathe properly during sets, and I end up getting light headed/looking like a tomato because all the blood rushes to my face.
How big are the boxes?
I just discovered they also have Crick-ettes :v:. Although both literally have next to no nutritional value: [thumb]http://d2npbuaakacvlz.cloudfront.net/images/uploaded/large-present/2013/12/17/alligator-in-ohio-no-way-1387296513.JPG[/thumb] Sorry to disappoint. Although I'm sure you'd get off fine visiting your local reptile pet store and buying crickets or whatever. To answer your question, pretty small packets.
i love bulking my strength has been increasing so much since i started bulking properly. feels good after almost an entire year of barely moving up in back exercises. i need to start deadlifting regularly again too, aiming for 6 reps of 180kg by the end of my bulk.
envy still 8-9kg to go on my cut
Think I might be changing my mind on this whole 5/3/1 routine now that I've done a proper day of it with the full amount of sets. 11 sets of squats and 5 sets of leg curls and I'm burnin
i squat cleaned 185 lbs today. tried going up but my legs had enough. didn't have any trouble squatting under the bar just couldn't stand up from the bottom.
damn nigga how do you jump up 2 plates of weight for a 1 rm my 7-8 rm is about 195 and my 1rm max is 235
Well it was my 5th set and I had been going relatively heavy but not to failure, that set was to failure and I got 8, so Im thinking fresh probably 300-315. I'll know in 5 weeks when I max! haha
Ok so with eggs I see alot of people just have egg whites. However I've kinda been struggling with putting weight on while bulking, as my maintenance levels are 11,000kJ per day so relatively high (19 years old and and 2 metres tall), and on top of that I have a physically demanding job where I work almost full-time. Should I move on to whole eggs or just stay with the whites when eating eggs?
The concern with egg yolks is the cholesterol if I'm not mistaken. I usually have 2-3 whole eggs and a mess of egg whites with it, in addition to some complex carbs in my oatmeal. I don't think I eat enough for breakfast honestly but after waking up and not being hungry, all I can manage is some eggs, oatmeal, and toast with pb. Milk is a great way to stretch out your calories in the morning especially.
My current breakfast schedule is two pieces of wholemeal raisin toast slathered with peanut butter (I go through a medium sized jar per week), a coffee and a 250ml protein shake, however in general I don't think I'm getting enough calories so I've been thinking of changing from an egg white omelette to fried eggs for my meal between lunch and dinner. Could probably have eggs for breakfast as well.
im young and dont care about cholesterol plus eggs are expensive so whole egg for me
