can hurt your wallet l0l literally pissing cash
Creatine is pretty cheap, so it can't really hurt.
Benched 315x1, then 335x1, tried 375x1 but I figure I was tired from 315 before along with some other chest exercises we did before. Trying 355 next chest day then 375, should be able to.
I wonder where I'm at, fuark i wanna max my bench
It can't hurt but it's literally unecessary. No matter how small an amount, you're still literally pissing cash out your dick.

Anyone know off a good site/resource that has plenty of exercises to do with home gym equipment (bench, barbels, etc). I don't have access to a good gym where I live. The most common one is planet fitness but fuck that place and a bunch of spinoff gyms similar to it. A good site to track stats and such would be awesome too if anyone knows of one.
Well all you'd really mostly use at gyms anyways is barbells and dumbbells so assuming you have the same equipment as a gym you can do 90% of any workout routine. Only problem is leg day which you pretty much need gym equipment/squat rack in order to do well TBH planet fitness is way better than not having a gym at all. They still have all the stuff you'd use at a regular gym, just ignore the dumb stuff
Helping new people get into working out is so satisfying. It's awesome, lately I've been the go to guy at my school for lifting advice. People are really grateful and polite. It feels good to give back to my little weight room community.

But I could actually get one fairly cheap if I wanted too. I'm just getting bored with my routine and need to find some resource that shows me new workouts and things to do.
Dumbell pressing 120s is scary as shit, I did 7 but I felt like I was going to kill myself at any moment.
Tbh planet shitness has stupid dress codes and actually will kick out people for "looking too fit". But if you guys can make it work for you as a gym, so be it. Hell, I personally didn't have the horrible experiences I've linked to. I ultimately left because they only had smith machines and no free weights. I was never treated poorly by them, but I knew they ran a shit gym.
honestly i really like the gym situation in russia there's a ton of small cheap gyms with free weights and all the necessary machines that cost $100/year and there's not a lot of people there either usually they're apartment building basements remodeled into gyms so one of those is like 300m from my house too
leg doms fuark my shoulders and back kinda hurt too because my gym doesn't have a squat rack. I was having to clean 60kg and then do 8 squats afterwards

My gym seems to have no limit on the total subscribers they have and its been getting busier and busier, over the last few months, when it was about at the acceptable limit when I signed up. Peak time now seems to be all day every day as more and more people are going to the gym at odd hours to try and avoid peak time. The time it takes for me to have a full workout has pretty much doubled. Shame because I renewed a year subscription last August. After this I'm going to ditch the university gym and pay a little more for not having to deal with overcrowding.
Uni gyms are always a nightmare cause everyone and their uncle joins it.
Hoping it dies back down again when people start to give up on their fitness new years resolutions.
I know the feeling of a packed uni gym all too well have to wake up at 6am for a good workout
Packed gym isn't even a problem at the gym I go to. When it's 'packed', it's people on the machines. Only a few people use the free weights, which I use in every exercise (except ab crunch machine and pull-ups, have to use the assisted machine for the latter because I'm a bitch)
Hoping it dies back down again when people start to give up on their fitness new years resolutions.
Gotta get dat spring break bod
Got myself on some of Reg Park's 5x5 workout sets. My legs are noodles after those squats.
Packed gym has never really been a problem with me, if I want something then I ask, most people are happy to let you bump in but my stuff is so ungodly long and complicated I just go to a nearby open machine and wait. If I get a machine I usually take forever but its steady use instead of really long breaks so I've never gotten any shit. I know enough people that sometimes when I ask the people I've talked to we come up with some sort of weird rotation that murders the both of us if they are feeling something new. I find the if you so much as look the other way people will swoop in and steal your shit at times but nobody has ever fought to keep it. Its pretty good except one old asshole that everyone hates, me and my buddy were super setting lat pulldowns and cable flys, I went to take a shit and came back to him stealing my cables (buddy was filling his water bottle), told him I was using it and he said "fucking bullshit" so whenever we see him we call him fucking bullshit. I got a couple more stories of the prick. He has quite the history, some sort of bodybuilding veteran (him and his fat fucking hideous wife who judges competitions god I hate her), i think they are even putting a bodybuilding show in honor of them or something. He knows shit all and him and his wife are horrible trainers but they have a lot of connections and are well established so people use them. All about the money.
I need to stop clenching my jaw when lifting, I get painful cramps in my jaw 20 mins afterwards.
The gym situation gym at my uni is great, we've got 3 different ones, 1:The public gym, pretty straight forward, cardio bunnies and dyels abound. 2:The performance gym, more so for the bodybuilding types, lots of machines, lots of treadmills, a few squat racks and a shitload of benches and dumbbells, that being said training legs here will still get you funny looks. 3:The super secret team gym, hidden in a discrete corner of the sports complex, only accessible to members of a sports team, theres 2 levels, upper has a shitload of benches, a place to do prowler runs and farmer walks, and a rack for pull ups, lower level is what you guys would have wet dreams about, 2 power racks, 4 squat racks, 4 oly platforms and more bumper plates than you can count, its where people who are serious about lifting come to lift. Despite all that theres still this one fucking guy who comes in ever monday, loads up 5kg each side of a barbell and does sets of cheat curls before calling it a day. I wouldnt mind but we have a fucking curl rack just for that.
the mention of prowler runs still makes me feel like I'ma puke. It's a love / hate relationship. that secret gym sounds like nirvana though
So I picked up some of this: http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/maltodextrin/10530114.html (Maltodextrin) Really cheap+fantastic for getting in extra cals.
What is the best supplement to take for just pure calories? I have trouble putting on weight and literally need about 3k calories a day to put a little weight on.
My old gym teacher told me about 7 days will pass before you start loosing muscle mass. I haven't checked it though.
At what point will I start losing gains from not going to the gym? There's no way I can drive in these icy conditions, I already missed an arm/cardio day and tomorrows leg day.
Losing gains starts just when you stop lifting #broscience Dont worry, the muscles dont melt, it takes a while. ive had periods of no lifting for as long as 1 month or so, when ai went back to the gym I would only have to make up for a small loss of say 5kg? or no loss at all. As for the physique you wont change too much
What is the best supplement to take for just pure calories? I have trouble putting on weight and literally need about 3k calories a day to put a little weight on.
Peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk.
