Just had a minor allergic reaction to something because my lips are a teeny bit swollen as well as my throat. Its weird because I had eggs on toast and cheese and pepper and I've eaten tons of those things my entire life. Can an undercooked egg do that?
Alright guess I'm going with creatine then. Is it something I take every day, or just the days I lift?
Usually just take it when i lift, not much point when your not lifting unless your doing a lot of labor.
Started taking whey protein to try and gain weight. Then I read it can actually help with weight loss. -_- At least I won't have a protein deficiency.
That's why you use gainers.
or you know, just eat more
help with weight loss?? uhh fairly sure the only things that help with that is eating less or doing more cardio
or you know, just eat more
Yepp that's the best way.
Christ, there was a fire in my gym's building, they say it was a loose lightbulb or something, luckily it was confined to the office downstairs thanks to fire doors and the concrete floor Soot fucking everywhere in the adjacent rooms (a massage room I think, even though the fire didn't directly get in) but the upstairs and main basketball court type area were fine, smelt a little odd when you first walk in though But yeah glad the guys at the gym aren't out of a job for months and glad my main gym didn't get burned the fuck down goddamn
i figured out why i was struggling so much with deadlifts and why i just had such a sudden boost in weight the way i was bring the bar up was basically making it so that i was frontsquatting the weight up because when i was told "keep your back straight" i assumed they meant keep it perpendicular with the floor now i do them right and PR'd 275 this afternoon and felt like i could've done 300
Today I managed my first unassisted dip. Feels good!
i wish i was old enough to do a cycle i'd rather not severely fuck my shit up just in pursuit of higher gains though
i wish i was old enough to do a cycle i'd rather not severely fuck my shit up just in pursuit of higher gains though
How old are you? I'm in the same boat.
How old are you? I'm in the same boat.
not even halfway to 20. it sucks because this is the time of my life where i would get the most benefit (see: pussy) out of doing steroids because i'm in college. a college with a lot of hot, superficial women
not even halfway to 20. it sucks because this is the time of my life where i would get the most benefit (see: pussy) out of doing steroids because i'm in college. a college with a lot of hot, superficial women
Yeah I'm gonna be 19 soon, I've only been lifting for three years so I know I still have a few more years until I should seriously consider hopping on gear due to both age and experience. I always told myself I'd wait until 21 or 23, it's so tempting to start sooner though. [editline]25th April 2015[/editline] Especially with being in college and having plenty of sources since a lot of the guys I lifted with in high school are cycling now.
Me and my gym buddy/best friend have a pact that neither of us do gear until we are 25 and unhappy with where we've gotten to. Both of us have to be unhappy, and at 25 I dont see that happening considering at 19 we are doing pretty good. My motivation is busting it so hard that it looks like im on gear when I'm really not, which is common. If you feel like you arent doing EVERYTHING in your power to get big then you arent ready for gear
Cut does weird things to your mind, I had a stale chocolate biscuit for lunch and it was the single nicest piece of food I have ever eaten.
Just wondering, how do the rest of you balance working out with your jobs? The past week has been a shocker. In the last three days I've done 4PM-12AM, 11AM-8PM and 11AM-8PM again (shocker for everything but my wallet, those three days were worth $800 before tax). The problem is it's labour intensive work. Millions of deadlifts, bodyweight squats, back rows etc. Do I work out before work and not get proper recovery until roughly twelve hours later? Or do I go to the gym after work when I'm tired and have poor lifts? I've been making the choice of working out in the morning and then trying to get a heap of protein and calories to carry me over on my regular breaks. First break I had a pre-mixed protein shake, second break half of a roast chook and third break a pork crackling snack which is like 70% protein. Is that the way to do it?
tbh if its labor intensive then its like a workout anyway when i go do martial arts they have a conditioning session an hour before so i don't lift that day at all.
I guess it is but it still leans more on the cardio side. Like I move plenty of cartons but they usually only weigh around 20kg each. My overhead press is more than that, and besides I had been working at this place for more than a year before I started at the gym and I didn't put on any muscle - I did drop from 95kg to 70kg though (well I suppose you can't put on muscle during a cut, but I didn't even get noob gains).

Finals week is next week which means between working my two jobs I've been so swamped with project work that I just don't have time to gym really. Other than that, I try and either do it early morning if I work in the afternoon or right after work (go STRAIGHT to gym, do NOT GO HOME) if I work in the morning/day.
In England college is not college as in the rest of the world.
Cut does weird things to your mind, I had a stale chocolate biscuit for lunch and it was the single nicest piece of food I have ever eaten.
I'm cutting for the first time and I'm really surprised by how little I'm hungry, despite the huge deficit. But it almost kills me when someone brings a bucket of fried chicken from Bojangles and it smells like heaven
not even halfway to 20. it sucks because this is the time of my life where i would get the most benefit (see: pussy) out of doing steroids because i'm in college. a college with a lot of hot, superficial women
At first I thought you meant you weren't even ten, and thinking about taking steroids :v:
yeah i guess i should've clarified, i'm not even halfway to 20 FROM 19 [editline]26th April 2015[/editline] also i'm about to go on a bitch of a cut #yolo 1800 calories a day. probably gonna lose a little muscle in the process but with how fat i am it shouldn't be that big of a problem [editline]26th April 2015[/editline] i'm actually having trouble filling out the last 700 calories while keeping my macros decent tho. i would go with almonds but they have an ungodly amount of fat in them which would put myfat and protein to an almost equal ratio [editline]26th April 2015[/editline] i added another meal to bring it up to calories 1654 protein 173g fat 72g carbs 32g still need just a little bit more filler and i have a little leeway with the fat now
og triple og is back

No idea if that's any better or worse than checking macro's, but it's gotten me results and I couldn't be arsed to count all that shit :v: [editline]26th April 2015[/editline] I wish my thumbs were long enough to hook grip, I tried it once and could only just grab a bit of my nail [editline]26th April 2015[/editline] Do mods ever browse this thread even
