I'm well aware these are trolls, but there are people who take the flat earth "theory" seriously. My cousin happens to date one.:geno:

I've heard of people saying it's a troll site, but I've never heard such a thing proven anywhere.

If it is a troll site? Why would you go that far, yet get pretty much nothing out of it. I don't see the logic.

This is a troll website and the trolls claim to use it for debate practice. This is evident in the way they lay out their claims and how anyone who doesn't provide concrete evidence that the Earth isn't flat is ignored. Also, they use the theory as an analogy to modern religious thinking and how outrageous it is that something with so little evidence, and in fact, evidence that disproves it, could be believed by so many people. I didn't bother reading through the tread, but this bears repeating- Flat Earth society is designed as a sort of "sandbox" for debaters are to practice in, in a unwinnable debate with someone who is so set in there believes that once you win the argument they stop listening you and call for backup to "justify" it. It's fake and I think the person who created it is genius.
