There have been several studies about how you recognize time.
Many showed similar experiences how you had.
I currently have no source (at least not in English), but you might look at the "sense of time" wikipedia article (more exactly: at the links at the bottom).
have you ever went to sleep and just opened you eyes and it's already morning in a couple of minutes.
I did this once when I was a little boy, but instead I Blinked and it was day, I was confused a fcuk.
It also kinda happened at an airport, i looked out the window and it was dark, turned around to look at my dad, then turned back to look at the window and it was light. WTF!

hahahahahhaaaaa
Dude time flies for me all the time.
In school, i get there, turn in my homework, BAM 8th period. End of school.
I've also been falling asleep at 7:50 and all of a sudden waking up at 3:00 AM and being WTF?

Integration does seem to posses time dilation properties. Why this power hasn't been harnessed so we can manipulate space-time at will, I do not know.
I have a theory. When the clock reaches 0:00, it suddenly progressively starts speeding up towards the morning. That explains why I'm always thinking "Meh, 0:00, I'll stay up for a little longer" and then WHAM, it's already 4 in the morning.

well its clearly gravity. after midnight the clocks hand begins to travel downward, so it accelerates faster.
its science.

i could draw a diagram for you if you need it

3 hours? Holy shit, mine goes for 40 mins a day. And that seems really long for me.

Well it's a 6-week summer class so they have to pack the the information of a 16-week normal semester into a little over a third of the time.
who the fuck studies on summer
Funny. Last night I hit the bed at 11:40 PM and I couldn't sleep. I tried falling asleep for what seemed like one hour. So I gave up, got up and looked at the time. 7:55 AM (right now)....fantastic huh?
And I don't even know if I slept or not last night....or whether I was dreaming.
I used to think the jungle was pretty awesome until I saw the episode of Survivorman where he couldn't sleep because of the FUCKING TARANTULAS.
True, another tale about a danish scientist and his wife saying "Fuck work, we're gonna live in the amazon jungle!" also ruined my lifelong jungle survival dream.
Basically they died of malaria.
who the fuck studies on summer
I did in High School so in Senior year I could leave 2 hours early. Felt great.
My summer litterly does fly by because I don't wake up until 2:30 - 3:00 in the afternoon.
Time seems to travel faster when I'm tired. The only theory I can come up with is that I'm thinking more slowly relative to the rest of the world due to lack of sleep, but my concious mind sees my thoughts moving at a regular speed resulting in clocks ticking faster (etc) when I'm tired.

That's it!
I sleep the entire mornings..
i'm going back to pulling iron next month and i'll do it in the morning
ahh this will be awesome.

I wish I could do that, but I have to work :(
I was sure this thread was going to be about the OP's bullshit unheard of radical theory that is idiotic.

Except that causes a delay so tiny it can only be detected by an atomic clock.
Maths lectures on the other hand...
have you ever went to sleep and just opened you eyes and it's already morning in a couple of minutes.
Every. Single. School day.
I really need to go earlier to sleep.
