well this went down the drain fast. v:v:v I honestly believe it's a good idea if applied right. Ignore the crap, bring back something older that may be of interest to everyone with a good contribution. You know, the stuff that everyone was waiting for in the thread but never showed up because you were at school that day. you tards are acting like the idea is to run around posting 'bamp' on random shit just to knock everything else off the list. Do you feel threatened by this endeavor? I'm sure general, fast threads and the oify will remain unscathed, but it's the subforums that don't move as fast that end up plagued by overages of "I drawd this in mspaint!" and "how I get gmod 10 free?"

Operation good bump gets a thumbs up, now to scour threads for an hour to find a "good" one.

You cannot impose social blinders on a community, it has never worked in the past and will continue to not work in the future.

OP says we should go "ooo good bump seal of quality hurr" people do that already, if a thread needs to be bumped then someone contributing to the discussion will post something relevant in hoping to bring the discussion back to life. If it's a bad thread people wont post in it and it'll die away, you'll just have tons of people going "oooohghh GOOD BUMP SEAL OF APPROVAL TO KEEP ON PAGE 1" for like 543 posts in a row. Not only that buy having a black mark shit or w/e would infact BUMP the thread. Just because you go "oh this is a bad thread it gets the ~~~BLACK MARK~~~" doesn't mean it wont be bumped when you post it. terrible ideas written by terrible people to bump terrible threads.
