i  rain
this
Actually no, compare the windspeeds of a "Gale" and a "Strong Gale" on your little scale there to the Category One and Two windspeeds of a hurricane.
Tropical cyclone scale =/= Beaufort scale.
Looks to me like your house is near a stream of some sort, logic would dictate it may flood a little.
be lucky that you at least get rain
Tropical cyclone scale =/= Beaufort scale.
Just because they're two different scales doesn't mean that they change the whole MPH system.
Heheh i know how i could solve that water problem in the yard. Would cost about 10 pounds and probably a day or two work in the summer. Also what ever you do try to prevent water getting inside or under the floor. because its hard as hell to dry out and repair.
Well, the weather there seems calm enough that when puddles form in your garden, you make a thread about it.
If you don't like rain, don't move to Washington State - it rains nearly 24/7 here. If any Washingtonians know what I'm talking about, speak up!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_cyclone_scales http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaufort_scale EDIT: I'll do it for you "Gale - 39 to 46 MPH Stong Gale - 47 to 54 MPH" "Category One - 74 to 95MPH Category Two - 96 to 110 MPH"
LOL!!! okay then let me rephrase. Daily we get category ones and twos, on a "shite" day we can get to bout 140 easy :v:
Well, the weather there seems calm enough that when puddles form in your garden, you make a thread about it.
Well lets see, compared to the fact that you've never seen somewhat normal weather here, I'd say you're a right dumbass for thinking that. I could care less about your Scotland weather and even less about the fact that you're trying to argue it with me. For the sake of not derailing the thread, get out. EDIT: Also your avatar.
EDIT: Also your avatar.
Keep it in the sub forum.
Keep it in the sub forum.
Sounds like you're giving yourself advice
Sounds like you're giving yourself advice
Stop trying to derail the thread.
I wish it would rain here, there's a huge drought. The dams are at 25% for my city.
Sounds like you're giving yourself advice
Now you're asking to cause trouble. Just stop already, you're crying about rain and strong winds, get used to it.
Most of the world deals with harsh weather and doesn't make a terrible thread about it. Sorry to hear about little puddles in your garden. This is what i'm saying. You don't see africans come in here bitching bout how they have no food and water do you. NO.
I've seen worse in Missouri with the drainage ditch on the side and in our yard. Missouri's cold fronts and severe thunderstorms can cause some nasty flooding. I rather have rain then a drought.
I hate the sun. What do all you people like about sunny weather? Its dry, sweaty and makes everyone hot.
Yeah man, New England sucks balls right now. I live near the water and the whole bottom part of my community got flooded. It was the worst I've seen it, and I've lived here for a loooong time.
I fucking love rain. Nothing more calming as rain, and to walk outside when it has just rained is just wonderful for the senses.
Its Drought in my country. Yellow trees here, yellow grass there..... O SHIT! IS THAT A BUSHFIRE!?!
I thought we had lots of rain in Wales. Nothing near as bad as that.
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and safe when it's raining outside. Infact it's raining now. :3:
You call that rain? Come to Northwest England, you'll want to destroy it.
Come to Austin TX - God's weather barrier. Any weather here is completely unaffected by the adjacent counties for some reason. It's almost completely consistent. We were actually lucky as hell to get 100% chance of snow one day this year.
It's awesome living in California, It was hot as fuck yesterday.
Reminds me of real England. :britain:
You call that rain? Come to Northwest England, you'll want to destroy it.
I don't even want to imagine the amount of rain.
Well at least your kid isnt being drowned in the stuff. Now where'd I leave Jason?
Beautiful Cleveland, Ohio got number one "worst (winter) weather in America" according to forbes (Which I don't quite get, as I love the weather here). http://www.forbes.com/2010/02/05/weather-snow-storm-lifestyle-travel-winter-snowfall_slide_11.html
