I wanted to tell the OP I was playing tricks on him, but I guess you guys ruined it :smithicide:
this thread is fucked
I don't know what you are talking about, the thread is fine
:smithicide:
OP, sounds like at least the voice bit could be down to the hallucinations that are involved with sleep paralysis. It's normal to have this, it's just that it isn't often consciously experienced. As for the light bit, if you live with your family/room mates then perhaps they've been in your room. Perhaps you got up in the night in a half-asleep daze, or sleepwalked. Hope things work out okay.
I hear people I know calling my name in my head all the time. Maybe I should have told that to my psychiatrist...

You ever seen Fight Club?
Today and yesterday were interesting for me. I don't know if I'm just tired or if I'm going insane. I'm going to list a couple things that are making me question my own mental health: when I was going to bed yesterday I felt like all of my movements were involuntary and it didn't really seem like I was thinking for myself. I felt almost as if my mind was disconnected from my body. When I turned the lights off to go to sleep I closed my eyes and started half-dreaming. I was in a mid-sleep state. I started hearing a friend's voice in my head, what he was saying was unintelligible until I heard him yell my name very clearly, "Justyn!" which sounded like it was coming from the back of my head. I opened my eyes and found that my light was turned on. I didn't remember ever touching the light switch after I turned it off. I finally got to sleep, afraid of hearing my friend's voice again. I only heard the unintelligible voices. I repeatedly woke up in the middle of the night, thrashing under my covers, however. Later that morning I woke up, tired. I found that my light was on again, for some reason. I turned it off and decided to go back to sleep for a little while and when I woke up, the light was on. I got out of bed, went on throughout my day thinking of what happened. I'm scared you guys. Please tell me what's happening. :ohdear:
You've been here for 8 months.. That's only the beginning phase.
I thought I went insane as I saw this thread.
Me too.
Get a camera and film your self in the night to see how the light is being swtiched on?
I got the idea from paranormal activity.
When I'm tired right before I fall asleep I can hear voices too Sometimes clearly and sometimes I can't make out what they're saying. You're just in the first stage of sleep so it's kinda like your dreaming while your awake. As for the light being turned on and off you might be sleep walking. Don't trip about the voices. Oh yeah and for the feeling of the involuntary movement, that happens when I'm tired too.
I'm depressed/suicidal but you don't see me making threads about it.
You're moving backwards in time every time you sleep and the voices you're hearing are the voices of your family discussing your eventual birth and your friend hasn't been born yet and :psyboom:
Sanity is overrated.
