Well, apparently I didn't get lucid. But I apparently ripped off the scene from Old Dogs where they're at the camp and there's two teams. Shit got cash in that dream.
alice madness returns its like alice in wonderland before disney took a huge shit on it
Fuck me that looks awesome.
So, is that anti-sub shit just a joke? If it's true, then DAMN, that's really interesting.
I am so close to giving up.
So, is that anti-sub shit just a joke? If it's true, then DAMN, that's really interesting.
It's true if you think it is, but in the end it's just your subconscious trying to make you scared to sleep.
My recall is all over the place. Sometimes, I can go for days without remembering a dream, and other times I remember multiple heavily detailed dreams over the course of a few nights. Do things even out over time?
So, is that anti-sub shit just a joke? If it's true, then DAMN, that's really interesting.
You can believe what you want to believe and it will reflect in your dream world. I don't believe in the "anti-sub". I think it's total poppycock. All my dreams are peachy. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] Now I need help to start on my WILD. When I start it I always come back to the thought of "manual breathing", and I start to lose the oncoming sleep paralysis. I'm thinking to take some antihistamines to I can get into a nice and sleepy state. Any tips?
Oh dear god. I just had an unnaturally realistic dream where my eyes got carved out with two red-hot metallic spoons. I could see everything in negative after they were ripped out of my eye sockets. And damn, was it bright. I'm fucking serious, I swear my eyes were burning even after I woke up.
So, is that anti-sub shit just a joke? If it's true, then DAMN, that's really interesting.
It's...complicated. At face value it can't really be true because your subconscious isn't a separate entity from you (which I will continue to reinforce until people understand it), and so it can't split into separate things. Even if it could, your subconscious is only ONE thing, it can't be two opposite things. Once you really start to explore it, though, then yeah, it's possible. It's really just a simple way of your subconscious showing you that there's bad thoughts and shit in your head and you should be aware of them. Realistically, having a big story arc with your sub/anti-sub won't really affect you in any way, it just gives you confidence that you don't have to give in to temptation. It's a mental placebo, but it's not too bad to do. It's amusing and helps you with lucidity, oddly enough. I just woke up so that won't make much sense, but do with it what you will. Orkel, interpret my ramblings.

I BET YOU WATCH YOUR SISTER WHILE SHE SHOWERS DON'T YOU YOU LITTLE PATHETIC PIECE OF ROTTING MEAT"
My first lucid ever was ridicilouisly realistic. I could do nothing but just look around in awe
I just woke up so that won't make much sense, but do with it what you will. Orkel, interpret my ramblings.
I got it and I agree [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] I was in a junkyard yesterday and I saw a yellow AMX Gremlin. In my first lucid dream I was standing right next to one just like it (just not decapitated). That was a pretty weird moment.
I did some meditation etc. last night in an attempt to increase the vividness of my dreams. Last night's focus was mental visualization, to help with visual clarity and detail. My challenge to myself was to visualize a small, white square. I got pretty close. I managed to get a blurry spinning purple not quite sqare-like thing, and a very blurry white thing beginning to resemble a square. Eventually, I drifted off to sleepy land. Amazingly, my dreams were more visualy clear and detailed than usual. (Tonight I was looking through dirty glass in the corner of my eye, instead of frosted glass!) My first dream was something about Little Big Planet. This is most likely related to me playing it most of yesterday. This was the first dream I can remember, before a large number of rude awakenings. (My house is not the best for dreaming.) Numero dos involved my laptop. I recently installed Linux alongside Windows, but the clock on Linux was wrong. I was thinking about it last night, my brain actually help me fix it, while asleep. Yippee! In my third dream, my father was browsing Facepunch for some reason. My fourth dream was pretty long, very visually detailed. I was walking through some streets near my house, thinking about their dream version. Unlike most of my dreams, this one took place in a dream reality surprisingly close to real life. As I walked along, nearing the large street that my own brances off of, I could see many details. There were trees, many. They blocked out most of the light from above, only letting in small rays. As I arrived at the large street, The tree-canopy dissolved, revealing a large blue sky, and a very sunny day. The street was empty, no cars were to be seen. As I crossed the street, I saw someone I know. They were short, with red hair. We exchanged greetings, and I continued walking. As I got closer to my street, I ran into another person I know. We exchanged greetings, and talked a bit. We got to my street. The realism dropped off here, my the street was significantly different. Instead of one long, secluded street, it branched at the beginning, with a small little thing with a few houses going off to the left. She walked down the little left bit. I guess her house was down there. The dream drastically changes here, and becomes strange. Everyone who lives on the street has a rifle. I pick mine up, it's really just an airsoft gun. The others are not. As I walk down the street to my house, I see two people fighting. While trying to walk past them, one of them hits me with their gun. I see to return the favor. Other people start fighting, and eventually someone pulls out a golden mortar thingy, and shoots a golden mortar/rocket thing in my direction. I manage to hit just in a way that it falls and doesn't explode. Everyone starts to freak out, so we throw it in a vacant lot and watch it explode, leaving a small crater. Back at the beginning of the street, one person started ranting about gun laws and stuff, and blaming me for the whole incident. I tried to defend myself, but he wouldn't listen and handed me something with a court date. Walking down the street, I was talking to someone about how stupid all this was. In addition to the people fighting, there was a nice elderly man, an elderly woman who was a great-grandmother, and some Nazis who hadn't moved in yet. No one was looking forward to seeing them. My last dream was a false awakening. I got up, grabbed a book, and got started doing my summer work. As soon as I woke up I thought to myself, "Uggghghghghmrphmrphmrph I need to do reality checks when I wake up..." Tonight, was sense should I focus on?
I just remembered a dream I had last night. I think I tried to block it out of my memory. It was detailed. Not only detailed visually, but it had detailed pain. All of my teeth were rotten and black. I was pulling them out, screaming. It was horrible. I could feel that sharp pain that only your mouth can bring. At least I don't remember it as well as the others... :saddowns:
Just curious. Does anyone find hand rubbing reliable? [editline]20th June 2011[/editline] I also finally had something gory happen in my dream. I coughed up my pancreas and my kidney. And not give a damn about it.
I slept for 15 hours last night. never done that before
Welp, my past one dream and this dream I had were about getting the shit beat out of me. I haven't achieved lucididy, yet. I was at a playground for some school trip with some middle school science teacher I had. Apparently, these black people were hanging around this one part of the playground, and when I went them them, a girl who I hate in real life comes up to me and beats the shit out of me. I wake up, go into :frog: mode, and somehow 're-enter' the dream but in a different place, in my own house. The girl comes up to me, threatens to beat the hell out of my family, and we fight again. I lost, again. I'm starting to think that my dream sign is fighting or something, because that's all I see. :saddowns: either that or my sub is fucking with me
I'm afraid to read the anti-subconsious part, as I'm afraid I'm gonna shit myself.
It's a placebo, don't worry.
I'm afraid to read the anti-subconsious part, as I'm afraid I'm gonna shit myself.
You already doomed yourself to facing your anti-self by having already shat yourself. You might as well read it.
I read all about it and haven't had any problems.

I fucking love tasting things in dreams. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] Its like a galaxy of orgasm in your mouth.
I read all about it and haven't had any problems.
Maybe we need to round up Jake's dream to exaggerate them even more
I don't remember ever tasting anything. Being able to recall tastes is difficult :saddowns:
I don't remember ever tasting anything. Being able to recall tastes is difficult :saddowns:
I didn't either until I tried it. Just take a really big bite of anything that looks even remotely edible. hell, take a bite out of a flying toaster, whatever floats your boat.
JESUS FUCK Chapter 4/5 of Alice RtM is fucking messed up. This is nightmare material, and I don't usually get that. Holy christ.
Why do I never remember my dreams? I mean sleep is a void for me, I have absolutely no recollection of ANYTHING that happens when I sleep.
Why do I never remember my dreams? I mean sleep is a void for me, I have absolutely no recollection of ANYTHING that happens when I sleep.
Train your memory. Do dream exercises, like imagine holding an apple, turn it into an orange, a rotten apple, an orange and back to an apple again. Play memory games and each time you go to sleep, tell your subconscious to make you fucking remember the dream. That's what I did and it works if I want it to.
Last night's dream I was at a huge space station having a party. But something went horribly wrong! The section with our bedrooms (called the Zeus module) snapped off the main station and was plunging into the Earth's atmosphere! The gravity was off and everything was floating and spinning. It was starting to get really hot inside, and we were out of hope! But then! A space shuttle approached us. From the cockpit, A black MacGyver hailed us, he was black for some reason! And he saved us all and we landed safely. [editline]20th June 2011[/editline] oh and the music actually played when he approached.
