I had an LD that lasted for a good half-hour. I forgot to do exciting things though :v:
I'll just copy paste my post from the lucid dreaming thread since I had no idea this one existed My first (and I think only lucid dream) occurred when I was very young, a black man was leading me through the carpark of my condo when I stopped and slapped myself on my face, my hand slid like it was striking butter and I immediately thought "cool i'm dreaming" The next part is a bit weird though because although I knew I was dreaming I was too young to understand what that meant so I just carried on following the black guy SP is a different story though, I used to have that a lot because I had trouble sleeping when I was young so I used to just lay very still in bed causing SP to occur. Edited: Actually I do recall another lucid dream, it took place at my school, every day my principle would have us gather on the field near the sports supply locker. He warned us several times not to go near it but I did anyway and this beast jumped out of the locker and tried to hit me. The next day (since this was a dream it just went to the next day very suddenly) the monster escaped and for some reason while it was chasing me I realised that I was in a dream, I managed to make my self fly but it was short lived since the excitement woke me up
Good to see you saw the light and came to the active thread. Now go back and tell your little friends to stop posting in a thread thats been dead for a year.
Have you been reading the Eawan thread? maybe you should stop
I never heard of that until now. I think this mess all started when I decided to take a break from LDs for a little while. I kind of lost touch with my SC and things started going south. Hm. Maybe I just need to opt for the 'rip everything apart' approach.
Not exactly dream related, but it is so annoying having neighbours with motorbikes and a large plot of land. Nothing is worse than being woken up at about 7am after going to sleep at 2am by a chorus of motorbikes.
I've lost all dream recall, again. Craaaaaaaap. Is there any cheap/easy way to improve it drastically?
Is it odd that I've never had a nightmare before? The worst thing to happen would be getting bad grades on my report card, or something similarly underwhelming.
What's the best way to start lucid dreaming the fastest?
I've lost all dream recall, again. Craaaaaaaap. Is there any cheap/easy way to improve it drastically?
If you find a way tell me. Mine dropped out on me after a solid month of recall. It's been off and on since then, if anything I get only small portions of dreams.
Does taking a b6 tablet (like in the op) actually work?
I feel good to have great dream recall to start with(not necessarily able to remember all dreams i had that night) remembering all my good dreams and the ones i wanted to remember.
I've been having really weird inception-type layer dreams. It starts like an normal dream, but becomes lucid. Then after an awhile I wake up. I can intentionally wake up from a dream if I want to, so I've gotten used to that I'm fully awake when I try to do it. But then I realize I'm still dreaming when the second dream becomes ludic. It's a really mindblowing sensation. And weird thing. When I get a bad dream, it always becomes semi-ludic. Before anything bad happens I always have this weird "something's wrong"-feeling. I've learnt to either wake up or change into a completely different surrounding. But when this last time happened I woke myself up and went to the bathroom. Then I realized I'm still in a dream when I felt something warming warm flowing down my thigh :/
I had a dream where my dog vomited all over me. Am I mentally fucked up or what :v:
I had a dream where my dog vomited all over me. Am I mentally fucked up or what :v:
only if you enjoyed it
I had a dream where my dog vomited all over me. Am I mentally fucked up or what :v:
It's a metaphor. :downs:
I had a dream that I was microwaving a bag of potato chips, and then when I open the bag it was filled with popcorn. Then I woke up.
Last night was seriously terrifying. When I tried to do any -ILDs, my brain felt like it was corrupting all of my thoughts. Everything became corrupted by some black tendrils. I was like that I could feel the force of the tendrils on my body even though the whole thing was in my head. When I felt like I was getting closer to getting lucid, shit went ape shit and it was god damn scary because of those tendrils. I pretty much gave up nearly instantly and for some reason the tendrils went away and I could sleep normally after that. i bet its all the msg but then why would it happen only if i tried to ld?
Because your brain downloaded the glitch codec.
Does taking a b6 tablet (like in the op) actually work?
I can't speak for the tablets, but I've found that eating a couple of a bananas has helped. The craziest thing for me is chamomile tea though. I'll always have extremely vivid, realistic, sometimes disturbing dreams.

That seems awfully severe to be your average abreaction to a chemical, unless the chemical is LSD. And MSG is not LSD, so... Yeah, try to figure out why if possible.

I didn't set my alarm, and I had a dream where I woke up late for my job, but then I woke up from that early and I was so relieved
Son of a bitch, every time I try WILD, as soon as I start seeing images, my legs kick and I wake up =((((((((((((((((((
Son of a bitch, every time I try WILD, as soon as I start seeing images, my legs kick and I wake up =((((((((((((((((((
I have a similar problem where my left arm randomly moves
I was on a city train on an elevated rail system high up in the sky and this girl suddenly appears outside the windows, flying alongside the train looking for someone. It was a dream so I felt like I knew her. It turns out she was looking for me, so she finally finds me and says "(my real name) I have to tell you something. I haven't seen you in 8 (80?) years, but when I saw you again I knew I loved you. Get your shit together so we can be together." In the dream, I could feel my emotions surging as she said that. She was about to leave and fly off, but I called her by name (I don't remember it) and asked her to stay. So she came inside the train and sat in front of me. I paused for a bit and said "(her name) that's really funny because as soon as I saw you for the first time again, I felt it here (I put my hand on my heart)." She smiled. I woke up in a cold sweat. It was one of the most vivid dreams I've had in a while. Almost as vivid as a lucid dream. I could remember everything: what she said (not her name, though, for some odd reason) to her face to my actions and what I said to the Asian guy awkwardly sitting next to me as the whole thing transpired. And the sky outside the train was a beautiful deep blue with sparse clouds, which contrasted the gray interiors of the train.
My Dream mind is really fucked up Its either one of Four things: Sex, Violence, Medieval or Post-Apocalypse Problem is the Sex section is REALLY fucked up, Like Bestiality and Incest, aka, all the forms of sex I find Gross, The Violence is usually Manly as fuck, Fighting a Hivemind With Fists ect.

Create a entity and name it Norton. Either that or Norton would never leave your mind and spam you with registration prompts. Idk, somewhere along those lines.
Which method do you guys think is best to induce a lucid dream?
Fuck I accidentally lucid dream, or at least I think it was. I was dreaming that I was in my room with my friend and the power had failed. I was holding my trusty headlamp in my hand and I turned it on. It worked, but was really dim. Now I don't know if this is what caused me to realize it was a dream or not but I know that my trusty headlamp in the real world is dangerously bright. So my friend said "Wow, that's really dim" and I said "Yeah, it's either low on batteries...or I am in a dream right now." He then just kind of disappeared and I felt like I knew what was going on. I did a couple uneventful things and it started to collapse but I spun around (it seems I pulled that tactic out of my ass, I don't recall reading one of these threads in months) and it worked but next time I was lying down and I thought "aww shit I can't spin while lying down" so I didn't and it collapsed. That was some cool shit though, much potential there. I might try to do that again. A couple things to be noted, there was a light switch in a position that doesn't correspond with any real one, but I sort of willed it that it would work and when I flipped the switch it worked. The other thing was that the entire sequence took place in front of a mirror and while I didn't focus on it, nothing scary or weird caught my eye.
I've been revisiting random dreams that I had when I was 5 or 6. Powerful dreams that I "failed" in before that would become nightmares. Now I can control and make the most out of them. Last night I revisited a room that was 3 stories tall and painted black, like an experimental theater. Inside, the floor was an ice rink, with an elevated stage on one side of the room. The entire space was also completely filled with a chilled, watery gelatin that was perfectly clear. Its presence prevented falling or slipping on the ice, and allowed more complex jumps and tricks. There were airlocks on both the stage wall and the floor that opened for brief periods to allow people to enter and exit the gel without it leaking out. The gel felt like melting snow; cold and wet but not freezing. I was with a group of 20 or more people in a class or practice session. When I had the dream earlier, I had panicked and run away from the room, thinking I would have drowned in it. Now, I took full advantage of the scene, even remarking on the marvelous ability to breath inside a solid wall of gel. Come to think of it, this is the 4th dream I've turned around from a childhood nightmare to a pleasant experience. Has this happened to anyone else?
I always drink Chamomile tea. Never had those type of dreams.
I find the more I drink it on a regular basis, the more its effects diminish. But if I'm out of stock for a while and have a cup before going to bed, I'm guaranteed to have weird dreams. Chamomile was traditionally used as a sleep aide. :eng101:
Oh, and I just remembered: Does anyone's projections (or dream "NPCs") acknowledge the fact that they don't exist? Mine always do. It's rather unsettling and strange. Edit: OK so maybe it's a good thing that they not offer their own logic. This past night's dream was destroyed because the projections detoured my logic path from lucidity. :suicide:
