Gah, my recall is so terrible, but I don't want to make a dream journal for fear my parents would read it, and thus my hormone-induced dreams.
Umm. Is it possible for there to be other things in my head other then my sub and the other one? Because for the past few dreams I've had this person called Greed talk to me in my dreams. The scary thing is is that he always looks the same.

Probably something that's been on your mind lately. If he's in a lucid dream, see if you can't freeze the dream and ask your sub about him.

Do what I do; type it up. Keep some paper near your bed, then write out notes on your dreams. When you get the chance, type up a document with some really inconspicuous title and hide it somewhere, then just copy the notes into the document. When you're done, dispose of the notes.

I'll go ahead and try that tonight. He's really fucking creepy.

It's your sub pretty much.
Since Zin ain't here, I'll explain. Everything in your dream is influenced by you and more notably your subconscious, and so because of that, subconsciously, Greed is something to you that is abnormal, and suddenly we'll have another topic in this thread :|

I also forgot to mention this one thing.
[sp]Placebo[/sp].
One time I had a dream that I woke up from my previous dream and wrote it in my dream journal. I spent an hour later in the day trying to figure out where it went.

What do you mean zin isn't here?
I've taken a break the past week or so from attempting to Lucid Dream, hopefully now that I'm well rested and recharged I can really focus and relax. I think part of the reason I was finding it difficult was because I was still moving into my apartment and didn't have all of my belongings. Now that the place is decorated I feel more at home and comfortable.

As in, not of this moment.
So I've been trying the finger-twitch method, really seemed to work pretty well. Too bad my recall is pretty terrible right now.
I actually realize I'm dreaming ALL THE TIME in my dreams.
Something will be happening and I will, calm as can be (without freaking out or being attacked by my subconcious like inception) be like "Yeah, pretty sure this is a dream." It's not even close to lucid dreaming, just a strange thing i do.
Welp, missed this thread and posted in the other one, accidentally.
I haven't attempted to Lucid Dream for nearly a year, but last night I was abruptly awoken by my own really loud snore (probably because I never snore usually), then went straight back to sleep.
In the dream I was at school and an unidentified band was playing at recess as happens every couple of terms. A few people identified them as Rage Against the Machine playing undercover. Somehow I immediately accepted that this was a dream, because the prospect of this band playing at a high school was ridiculous, plus I finished high school a week ago.
It wasn't until a while later in a car that I actually remembered the whole Lucid Dreaming thing, so I decided to go through the whole process of acknowledging that it wasn't a dream out loud, and everything sort of froze and I was like "Yes, I'm doing it!". This didn't last very long as I somehow instantly fell though the car door and stupidly and implusively summoned this girl I like. It was probably too much for my brain to handle and I was sort of sucked back to consciousness. There was a brief moment in there I hadn't had before, where it felt like I was in total control, is that lucidity?
It was pretty weird, given that I haven't looked into this stuff for absolutely ages. It was also possibly the only dream I've had where I can recall every minute detail. Now I don't think I'll be able to pull it off again. I was lying on my back also, which I NEVER do. It was like a completely fluked WBTB dream.
I wonder if this could work.
Train yourself to say "i want a boner" automatically every 2 minutes.
And in your dream you'll say that and you have a boner.

Well, it's technically a reality check, but you don't need to do it every 2 minutes. Maybe every hour to refresh your mind of it. When you say it in your dream, you'll get some random doctor Seuss creation sticking right out and start to question your dream itself. :v:
I'm gonna try lucid dreaming tonight ( DILD )
Reporting in tomorrow if i get anything
Has anyone else never had a wet dream? I have tons of sex dreams but I never end up "finishing" in them. Disappointing at the time, but when I wake up I don't have a mess to clean up.

Not what I expected my 1000th post to be about.

I've "finished" before, but never woken up to sticky places anywhere, If that's what you mean.

I've always come close (pun intended), but I've never actually finished that I can recall.
I woke up while finishing, I was like "what the fuuuuck"
I finish, but only in the dream.

I believe that you can use that as MILD?
Dedicating my 1000th post to this thread. It's helped me so far in my goals, even though they are far out in reach-
Don't be depressed by the fact that you're not going to lucid dream. It just takes practice. You've already made it past hundreds of people just trying to LD.
What I'm trying to say is, thanks for teaching me the works. Y'all deserve a cake.
I've been eating healthier and not smoking weed (dream killer), and after a while some pretty vivid things can happen.
Yeah ive been reading this thread from page one over the last few days and i just stumbled upon your comment. Long story short, i have to disagree smoking weed stimulates my dreams extremely well. Most of my lucid dreams have been just because ive gone to bed still high.
Im also new to facepunch forgive me if this reply is messed up or something i have no idea what im doing i come here for the reading.
Well, last night I did achieve lucidity (rather humorously, I might add).
I was standing in a doorway next to a small canal in a city like Venice. The canal wasn't that deep, but the current was such that if I would have tried to wade to the other side where I wanted to go, I would have fallen over. So, I tell the water to drain. "Drain please."
It drains a bit, but then fills back up again. I repeat this process a few times, and then I think, "Well, maybe if I say I'm dreaming this'll work..."
Then, it hit me that I was dreaming. Moreover, I specifically remembered this thread, and tried every method possible to keep the dream from collapsing.
It worked for a little bit, and then I blacked out and I suppose I continued dreaming but I forget the rest.
The sensation of realization was strange because it all sort of happened at once: I stated I was in a dream, and then this vague feeling of unease, and then I remembered the thread. Hmm.
I will seriously sound dumb here, but I'm greek, in LD must I use English or Greek?
I mean..in my dreams. Or if you say that I should use my country's language, if I use English, is there a difference?
Just use whatever is natural to you at the time.

People in dreams aren't always important people, I mean it doesn't necessarily have to be your sub. It might just be a physical manifestation of your greed. Someone's been feeling greedy lately, I assume. Or having problems with greed or wanting things that aren't yours.
The last few nights have been very strange.
I've remembered all my dreams quite clearly, but if I try to think about them hard, or put them into words I can't.
It's really hard to describe.
So, I remember something about last nights dream, wasn't lucid but.
So there was some rain, and after the rain stopped I tried ti climb a cobblestone staircase, everywhere i stepped it crumbled down. And somewhere in the dream finale I took my cap from a coathanger and I saw a woman, but i just walked away and then I don't remember shit.

Use Greek, it's your natural language. Also exciting, I found another FPer from Greece. I'm an American Living in Greece, and didn't know there were many Greek FPers.
