Holy shit. My own dreams just taught me how to change the landscape. I was with someone, he was mentoring me in the art of lucid dreaming :v:
What method do you guys use to enter a "lucid dream". I honestly don't know which one is the easiest

I'm practicing the hardest method through WILD. The one that gets results is MILD combined with WBTB. My first Lucid Dream was through MILD/WBTB accidentally.

I just kind of roll with it and occasionally get lucid through logic
For a new guy, using DILD is best. Just look around whenever you remember and if there's anything beyond your explanation, do a reality check. Personally, I've never tried WILD or anything like that, so I don't know whether it's any easier.
To be honest and immature DILD sounds like dildo :v:
On a more on-topic note though, someone explain what DILD is?

Dream Induced Lucid Dream. Realizing that something in your dream is fucking odd and noticing you're in a dream, causing you to go lucid.

A quite a while ago someone proposed people be called based on what method they used. wild-o, fild-o mild-o
We addressed the fact that I would then be a dildo.
I've randomly had good dream recall for the past 2-3 days.
I had very vivid and thought-provoking dream about the SCP Foundation, very cool.
What was strange was that I had a tattoo on the underside of my right forearm. It was a maze type thing in a circle, and a pair of eyes at the bottom. When I looked at it, I felt like I had always had it.
Use Greek, it's your natural language. Also exciting, I found another FPer from Greece. I'm an American Living in Greece, and didn't know there were many Greek FPers.
I've added you on steam as Scene, like a week ago, still waiting you to add me hehe, on another note practicing C-Wild, sounds the most easy method for me after MILD
Got into SP, then my eyelids started twitching violently and ruined it.
I'm still trying to find the best WILD technique for me. The hard thing for me is gauging how successful/close I am because almost every time I make a WILD attempt the sensations and such differ; sometimes in big ways.
MILD never works for me, and I don't want to do the other types of achieving lucidity. (I might try WILD or FILD later)
Maybe it's because I use my cellphone since I put the "I want lucidity blah blah blah" phrases there for me to study. But it doesn't work. Help.
I've had a lucid dream once, but it didn't feel that too lucid. It felt like I was lucid, but I was not. I just did stuff I'd first do if I was lucid. The lucidity was gone when I got in some Minecraft-like house after flying around a bit.
I tried WILD for the first time. My legs were starting to numb and I heard some kind of buzzing noise, was I close?

Yes, if you just keep with it you'll eventually enter a dream.
One thing I cannot get down in WILD is that when my body goes numb, that's it. It just stays in that position forever. I went down at 10 ish and stopped at 10:40. 40 minutes of just being NUMB :v: I can't do WBTB, so my options are pretty limited..
C-Wild worked for me, but all I remember from my dream is a shotgun.
C-Wild worked for me, but all I remember from my dream is a shotgun.
Isn't C-WILD where you count from 1 to a high number, get out of bed and do an RC?
Isn't C-WILD where you count from 1 to a high number, get out of bed and do an RC?
I read up about it. It's usually used best with WBTB, and your explanation is right. Although you should probably count to 120 and sit up from your bed, then do a simple RC. Getting out of bed decreases the chance of LDing, since you're stimulating your body to wake up by moving so much.
I have been trying WILD for a few nights now. I can get really relaxed and feeling numb in my arms and legs, although I can still move them if I wan to and break the numbness.
When I get to that state, do I just continue counting numbers, or visualizing going down a set of stairs counting every step? Usually when doing that I get unfocussed or drift off into other thoughts, then falling asleep.

I wonder how successful I'll be with it.
I wonder how successful I'll be with it.
Well, from my attempts, you at least have to be able to snap up and remember what you're trying to do fast or you'll forget and go back to sleep.
I had a dream that I was drinking. These kinds of dreams scare me, because alcoholism runs in my family. :ohdear:
I had the most fucked up dream last night, i was at my old house on a lake, then i achieved a bit of lucidity and decided i should look in the water. I jumped in the water and looked around and it was really clear and i could see really far out(like in half-life 2). Next fucking thing, a half shark man (torso man with gills with scales and shit, Bottom half shark). Then i remember spinning around gets rid of this shit so i did that and then the fucking things' head turns into a snake and its neck grows really long and it tried to bite me! so after a bit of thrashing trying to swim to shore, i could'nt get out no matter what. Then i some how managed to get out and the further i got away from the water its neck grew longer and longer snapping at my face and shit. thats when i woke up.
As of recent, I'd just like say my dream recall has been a bit messed up lately. Note that I'm not actually attempting lucid dreaming or have been recording any dreams for a long while. And I mean like, months.
My dream recall is messed up, not in the sense that I don't recall probably, but in the horrific sense that they blend in with my normal memories and sort of become like, false memories. So far, it hasn't been affecting me much mainly cause they feel recent or illusive, but it takes a while to figure it out. Just another note; I'm an amnesiac.
I'm worried, the false memories just scare me; they seem real...

[sp]The ending was for dramatic effect.
I'm just wondering how to deal with it, in case if it ever does fool me. :\[/sp]

Very, on another note..are you named Elias in real life..and work as a teacher?
Cause, my real life teacher, is from America, he lived in Georgia, teaches me and is interested in LDing o_0.
Edit: Oblivious, that's strange.
look at his Google+
It's Shane.
People don't always put their real info, anyway, back on topic.
I'll be trying WILD soon, but I'm afraid of paralysis, since it's something I MUST do.
I had a terrible dream last night. It was more disturbing rather than scary. Most of its hazy but the vivid part is where I'm standing near a large group of people and someone or something is shooting them and their heads and limbs are flying off. With brain matter and blood was spraying everywhere. Then out of no where Michael Richards shows up (Kramer from Seinfeld) and the top of his skull is blown off so his brain is exposed and then a large chunk of his brain is also shot off. The rest of the dream is basically him writhing and crawling around on the floor screaming in terror as I stand and watch. The most disgusting thing was I could see into his open skull and the remaining bits of brain that were in it were caked in what I think was pus. The last thing I remember was him sitting up against a wall and screaming something about pain and blood... I forget. Then he just bashed his head against the wall until he stopped moving.
Posted this in the GD thread, so here too.
Had an awesome lucid last night. It was a MILD.
First of all it started as a normal dream. Then I took drugs in it, something like benthozyme (not sure if it even exists) that were pills that melted in your mouth. And it turned into a lucid. The "drugs" made it hilarious, first I met a golden buddha that rose out of the ground, and I asked it about the meaning of life, and then we had a deep conversation. Apparently being wide is the meaning of everything. Everything is about wideness. There is no length or height, just wideness flipped on its side. Without wideness everything would be 2D and our 3D world wouldn't exist. Wise words from the buddha :v:. After this conversation the buddha went back into the ground, and I noticed the weather was becoming cloudy. So I swiped my hand and the clouds dispersed away, and I set the time to summer, mid-day. Nice and sunny! I then jumped around in a field of flowers, saw a Sherman tank drive past me, played some piano and saw my grandmother, then woke up.
It was vivid as fuck. Perfectly clear and realistic and I could feel everything.

I have false memories all the time.
Most of the time I can't tell if I'm remembering a dream from a long time ago, or if the memory is fake.
Also, my sub once accused me of "breaking memories"
