Right well. In these dreams, My boyfriend [spycrabz], Kills and tortures me over and over. It isn't just him murdering me. Everything surrounding me is all fucked up, a dark red color. While Spycrabz himself has a sort of, deformed, creepy face. while the rest of his body is deformed. And as I try to run I can't and he gets closer and closer. until he is right at my face. He breaks my neck completely, it hangs down. I have yet to wake up. so he shows me my fucked up neck though a mirror. I blink. Him in a normal version, smiling at me. its from a picture of him. He just sits there, watching my, damaged. while the deformed version rips me apart. I can't scream. I can feel myself in reality struggling to get out. This has happened 3 times. At the beginning of these dreams. He tells me he loves me. That he could never hurt me. Never break me. I felt so safe. My brain is fucked up..
Sounds like my last relationship.
That's buyer's remorse for buying him a title.
I regret everything.
So, last night I was going to personally scar myself (kind of like a tattoo) because of a picture on the internet, and what do you know! I chose my wrist.
is that a dream?
guess
November 8, 2011 3 Separate dreams The first one was me giving a proper goodbye to my ex, after everything is settled. Our last apologies, how we truely feel, things like that. I was on fp for this, she wondered if I can take her back. personal note: I still flip between how I feel about her. Sometimes I feel alright with how things are. Other times I was reminded of the things she done (force me into soap induced urethural trauma for what I feel were for bad reasons, cheat on me while I was off on vacation instead of grabbing a camera so I could see her eyes for once, etc) and I want to critisize her more. Other times I want to take her back but I'm worried about the things I done (broken promises, unable to control my anger, trying to make sure I don't anger her with my attempt at humor/being cute) I often do not know what to do. End of note. The second one was me playing doom, but with a mod that gives me a flashlight and dual wielding. The map I was playing was also where I was being driven back and forth on. It was a highway between towns I go to regularily. The third dream was me helping my dad clean out the garage. We found "Catcher in the Rye" with some blue gook in the middle of it. It was the extended version so ot included rants by the author and family/friends as well as images of them. I only opened it to retreive the image of Yvonne Strahovski as I was using it as a bookmark and I thought I could still use it.
yvonne strahovski
Thank you.
Anyone have experience with lucid dreams? I seem to have gotten pretty good at realizing I'm in a dream, but beyond that I can't seem to shape the dreamscape without breaking it..
Anyone have experience with lucid dreams? Anything you can do to improve your mental image helps. For me, it's music. For others, drugs, bananas, etc. Meditate during the day and practice mental pictures. It should help.

Any rules you think of will be in place only because you believe they are. [editline]8th November 2011[/editline] e.g. Electronics not working, books being wrong after looking away, then looking back, and being unable to see things that you do not know what it looks like. None of those common ideas are true.
Had a WILD last night. As usual, hopped out of my window to do stuff. As a sidenote I noticed through the first floor window of our house that the first floor had turned into a minecraft lava lake. I didn't pay attention to it and instead did my dream goal. I crouched looking at the ground, and said aloud: "Once I look back up, I will be in the year 2500" And I looked back up. Everything had suddenly gotten a cyan-blue tint, even the very air itself. I noticed loads of trees had fallen, roads were pretty shit. I also noticed a Honda growing wings and flying up into the sky. There was a lot of little stuff like that. But I'm not very good at getting to totally new places without using a portal/teleporter, so my environments didn't change that much. I'll try next time with a portal instead.
Is it a bad thing if I haven't been able to remember a dream for around half a year now? Seems pretty sad to me, at least I sleep peacefully.
Is it a bad thing if I haven't been able to remember a dream for around half a year now? I had an amazing dream last night. I'm pretty sure it was about an expedition into an imaginary universe that's at the time of the dinosaurs, but going there from the future. In the beginning, I was doing something like iceskating around a rink, but it was in the middle of a jungle, and the rink and the bottoms of my shoes were Teflon. And there were huge meteors falling from the sky. It was nighttime, and the sky was so clear. I could see stars and galaxies and nebulae, it was just amazing. Then other stuff happened. Then I was kidnapped by some protagonists who had already recovered the technology to perform archic surgery, whatever the hell that is. Around here my dad was try to wake me up by shaking my bed and poking me, I rolled over and thought to myself how I wanted to stay in the dream. I find it annoying how I'm actually aware that I'm dreaming (and even making comments about it) in most dreams, yet I never act on it.
I had a TF2 dream. There was this guy going around dropping gifts everywhere. ...I was so happy...
A few nights ago I didn't have a lucid, but I did have a vivid false awakening. That morning I had to wake up at 7:00, and my alarm clock said it was 10. I checked it a couple of times and it didn't change, so I assumed t was real. I then turned out of bed to find that all of my furniture was gone from my room. I said "What the Fuck" quite a lot, ran into the corridor and properly woke up at 7:00. Shit was so confusing.
A week ago I had this dream of parkouring through a strange city that was completely empty. The dream itself was nice in the beginning, but it got creepy later. It also had a song that went with it, which was awesome. So it started with me on this huge skyscraper then I was jumping around the building and jumping off it. Just parkouring then when I was like 4 mins in the dream, the sky started to darken. Hands started pushing through the cement and tried to grab me. I was running from the hands for what seemed like forever. I finally out ran the stream of hands when the music stopped. Then I stood there in a triumphant pose. A hand wrapped around me and dragged me under. Thankfully I woke up after that. Here's the song :

Had a dream about a "ruthless world." Basically, it was just like our average civilized world, but the world followed the philosophy of "If you can't keep yourself alive, the world's better with you dead."
A couple of nights ago I had a dream where I asked a friend if he had ever heard of the game Amnesia: the Dark Decent. After asking him this the hallway that we were in made a left and opened up to an old looking room. When we get in we hear a moan from one of the monsters from Amnesia, we both look down the hall and saw that one of the monsters from Amnesia Justine was there. We run in the room and hide, I hid in a corner that had a place to stand about three feet off the ground. I look behind me to see the monster in front of me staring. The only way I can describe the feeling that I got during this would be the same thing you feel when being chased in a game of tag. It's not fear at all, I wasn't afraid of it as far as I can tell. Oh, and if you are wondering what happened after that, I did what any sane person would do, I kicked it multiple times in the face.
I've had dozens of dreams where I was banned on facepunch. Only to wake up and get on facepunch and find out I am not unbanned. I am not joking.
Is it a bad thing if I haven't been able to remember a dream for around half a year now? Seems pretty sad to me, at least I sleep peacefully.
So I've been trying to get better at dream recall, and I've had a few different experiences, I can more or less remember what I dreamed, One is more vivid than the other. First one: So I was going with some friends across some bridge, and somehow I got ontop of the bridge(it had a little roof thing), But anyway the wood from it started coming off and I had to go fetch some more wood to fix it, so I off I went.. I remember I walked for like 5 minutes and I came to this field of eggs, They were pok-a-dotted and alldifferent colors(Now that I think about it they looked like yoshis eggs). They probably came up to my neck, they were pretty big. Anyway I got hungry or my friend did Im not too sure, but one of us cracked open the egg and ate what was inside, it was this sort of clear goo stuff, Odd. Anyway then I saw this spider with really thing legs, he was big, probably came up to my shins. Anyway, he had sort of long pointed legs and a small round body, it was very metallic. I remember thinking to myself, "Ofcourse, It HAS to be a spider". By the way I'm arachnophobic. Dream two: This was really small, Basically I was in some sort of room that had a mix of TF2/Halo style setting, and apparently me and my brother were Engineers in tf2. He told me he had figured out how to build a turret that fired heat-seeking rockets. Although I don't think I saw the turret I knew exactly what it looked like, it was sort of like a SAM-turret in Cod. But anyway then we went outside, built level 1 normal turrets and I woke up. But then last night I tried to do a WILD. It was extremely odd. Basically I started to get this floating feeling then I would hear this extremely loud POP right next to my head, it sounded exactly like when a balloon would pop, ofcourse it jolted me awake. I immediately thought of the balloon and wondered how close I got to something significant. Anyway I tried again and this time I heard multiple pops like there were 4-5 balloons. I got an image in my head that they were balloons and there were probably 5 of them, they were maroon. Can anyone tell me how close I got to.. anything? But yeah, Someone said a bananas, bread, and peanut butter help you recall dreams or something, so I just ate a peanut butter sandwich and I'm off to bed!
I was getting a foot massage when I became lucid, and when I tried to run, the masseuse stuck his finger up my butt. And wiggled it :tinfoil: I woke up immediately after.
-snip-
Sorry about the late response, but when you start hallucinating, you're pretty damn close. Good for a first-timer.
Fuck. I had a dream last night that I spammed goatse all over facepunch and got permabanned by Garry. Garry came to my house and started slapping the shit out of me but I kicked him in the balls and he ran away.
i had an awesome dream with tons of airplanes and at one point I "woke up" and was like "wow that was an awesome dream! I liked the part with the planes!" but I was still sleeping I didn't realize it though, too bad.

Last night I dreamed that me and my best friend were smoking weed and doing all kinds of crazy shit. Problem. We both have a negative look on drugs, we'd never touch them in our lives. Is my brain trying to tell me something?
Is my brain trying to tell me something?
no Getting lucid a lot more, but I still have shit control.
