Last night's dream. First one, I was participating in a car race, and the cars were tiny. The cars ended up transforming like the transformers into robots, it was cool. But our real job was to stop a crazy scientist from turning the entire universe to literal hell. A guy told me the crazy scientist was so fat that he took up 1/3 of the visible universe. At this point of the dream, there was a segment where we were trying to clone a bunch of alien lifeforms that resembled oranges. We succeeded. This had nothing to do with the rest of the dream. We hopped in our spaceships and travelled to another solar system to beat the crazy scientist. We landed on a moon of a planet, it had strange trees and the ground was quite dangerous. The planet was visible overhead, hanging up there, it looked beautiful and was vivid. Suddenly the mad scientist blew up the main star, it turned into a supernova. I saw the planet which hovered on my head start to break up and lava was spewing in space from the cracks, the colour turned from greenish to red. Same started to happen on the moon. This music started playing. And as it did, the ground cracked everywhere, lava was firing out on the surface with great pressure, the ground shook. One of my crewmates shouted "EVERYONE BACK TO THE SHIP, NOW" The ship was on a hard to reach hill, we had to jump there. I jumped, but couldn't reach it and fell down again. I tried to jump the second time, didn't work either, but I was so close. [editline]6th December 2011[/editline] My second dream. I was fighting Talos, an ancient Greek god. After beating him, I took a stone slab that he had and ran to a forest. In the forest, I was stopped by two guys. Robin Hood and a random guy. They said, "Give me your stuff so I can give it to the poor", but I wasn't going to. I had to fight them off and ended up with an arrow in the arm which I pulled out, it looked nasty. After this, I put on a scuba suit and full plate armor, and walked to the bottom of a lake, where I found a treasure chest. I surfaced and opened it up, inside was jewelry, a bottle of acid called "King of the Kings", a bottle of rare perfume named after a famous Finnish artist "Akseli Gallen-Kallela" and some coins. Then I woke up.
Hmm. Sounds like someone enjoys epics. Even Akseli Gallen-Kallela is renowned for his illustrations of the Finnish national epic the Kalevala. Not to mention Robin Hood, the potential Indiana Jones reference, beating up a Greek god, and the generic galactic sci-fi epic. Cool stuff. Wish I dreamt that.
last night I had a dream i was a car stuck in traffic i wish i had orkel's dreams
I had a dream that I was almost raped by a giant gorilla-man.
I dreamed the antenna on top of my car fell off. woo, eventful.
Ok, I think it's safe to say that Orkel has the best dreams of anyone here. Or he just stole everyone else's decent dreams for himself.
Ok, I think it's safe to say that Orkel has the best dreams of anyone here. [editline]7th December 2011[/editline] But yeah, you're probably right. Most of my dreams are simplistic, but that's how I like them so no complaints here.
Wow... I should have stuck around O.O Now to read :v: [editline]7th December 2011[/editline]
I had a dream that I was almost raped by a giant gorilla-man.
Do tell.
No one answered my question :<
When is the best time of the day to eat bananas/take vitamin b? Like how many hour before you go to bed. Would it also depend on your metabolism?
Last night's dream. I was watching the news when the reports came that two large vessels were spotted heading towards earth. They ended up being hostile aliens and they enslaved us all. The entire sky was covered with a huge spaceship like in Independence Day but it was much bigger. It then turned invisible. And so did I. I somehow acquired the power of invisibility, and went around doing resistance work against the invaders, fucked up their shit without them seeing me etc. Their guards that they used to keep watch on humanity were basically robots that looked identical to humans, very much like Terminators, but more alieny inside. At one point I got covered in paint, but I dove into a river right as the guards were about to catch up to me, and the water washed the paint away, making me invisible once again. There's a part that I can't remember here, but I did something that ended the occupation, and freed Earth from their clutch, the skies became clear again and everyone was happy. Me and another guy took scooters to ride back home, and suddenly the guy's scooter turned into.. a guy, who was in the shape of a scooter and did scooter sounds with his mouth, it made me laugh so hard that it woke me up. Recently, for like a month, I started to get dreams (not lucid, still cannot into that) very, very often. Literally I remember all my dreams every damn day. Previously, for atleast whole summer and till mid october I couldn't remember a shit, but now I remember intensively. Why?
I had two dreams last night. In the first, I was a reporter covering a swamp man. He had an airboat, and we went out on it crocodile fishing. We got to the area, and he let me off at a small island. I sat down on the island, and to my dismay, it was actually a large cactus. I got stabbed a billion times in the ass, but it was better than being in the crocodile water. A large crocodile attacked the swamp man, breaking the airboat and dragging the swamp man off through the water. I waded in and dragged pieces of the airboat back to the cactus and managed to erect a non-prickly platform to sleep on. I awoke (in the dream) to the swamp man, now shirtless, looking like a giant Saxton Hale, dragging the 30-foot gator, now dead, by the upper jaw. He gave me a ride back to civilization on his shoulder. The second one: My cockatiel, joe, escaped my house and flew away. The next day I was at best buy, which was located in a large old red stone building. I heard a tapping noise and looked up to see Joe sitting on one of the skylights, pecking at it. I figured "ah hell, theres no way I'm getting up there" and went about my business. The next day I was at best buy applying for a job at best buy late at night, and saw Joe up there again. When it turned to morning, I asked the manager if he could show me to the roof so I could get Joe back. He said sure and was showing me the way up when I woke up, thinking I was late for school. In reality, I had woken up an hour before my alarm.
No one answered my question :<
1-2 hours before you go to bed. It depends on your metabolism to an extent, but that won't make a noticable difference. Vitamin B excites the area of the brain involved in stage 3 of the dream cycle, which is what you want because that makes it both easier to go lucid and easier to remember your dreams.
Ugh, I both my recall and my sleep schedule are shot. I'm not tired enough to sleep till about 1:00 and I wind up waking up at about 12. My recall just said screw it on the 1st and I've been trying to reclaim that again. As soon as I wake up I just can't remember that much, if anything. Anyone have a good way for me to get to sleep earlier?

Eventually.
I actually give myself an hour before I go to bed to chill and browse FP. The reasons why I manage to mess up my schedule is because something always manages to come up to sidetrack me once in a while. Two nights ago decided to help out my friend by checking over his college essay in between him writing it; he finished it up at about 4 though. It's not always so extreme but normally it would be things like chatting with a friend that I haven't talked to in a while. It seems that my recall is tied to my sleep too. So when I get my ass in gear and am back to normal sleeping habits, it should come back easily.
I'm not sure what's supposed to happen when I'm trying to WILD. Do I just lie still, start hallucinating and pop into a dream? When I lose feeling in my toes, is it because of progress or poor circulation? If I start to itch, will I still be able to dream if I just ride out the discomfort?
Wow... I should have stuck around O.O Now to read :v: [editline]7th December 2011[/editline] Do tell.
There was a giant gorilla man who had operation that gave him a penis. Then he tried rubbing it on me. Nononononononononononono I'm at a in my recall ability where I remember lucid dreams on occasion, but don't remember being in them. It's hella disconcerting to remember various conscious thought and actions without remembering the sense of self
I'm trying to DEILD tonight. Changed alarm.caf on my iPod touch to a better sound and set an event at 4:30 AM every day on the calender. I hope this works.
Whenever I stay up until like 1 in the morning and then decide to go to sleep, when I close my eyes and let my mind wander I end up thinking of images, and they look very real and I don't realize they aren't real until I think about the fact that I'm going to sleep and them I'm like "oh yeah" and 'wake up' from my half dream. Does this mean that WILDing will be easier when I go to bed late?
I dreamt i was cookin s'mores with 80s spiderman last night. It was pretty cool.
Saw a dream that I was part of a cult that you got into if you were growing a long stick of keratine (the stuff your nails are made of) out of your dick. Mine was 40cm long or so, growing out of my dick, and it was really annoying. I snapped the stick off and quit the cult because it was ridiculous and uncomfortable. They were angry. Afterwards there were two families, both rich and powerful, whom I joined during the dream, I can't remember their names but I remember that they had them. One of the families specialized in knowledge and science, I liked them. They taught me important shit and I went around buying expensive goods with their money as a reward. Like a diamond encrusted watch. Also had a romance with one of the ladies.

Good to know this stuff.
Last night's dream was slightly different. I got made the captain of Switzerland's first aircraft carrier/battleship hybrid, and went to war with Sweden. I remember ordering "Activate the two main deck triple cannons" to bomb a Swedish warship with, which ended up blowing a small town up with nuclear warhead cannon shells, and also remember my ship shooting down multiple aircraft with its anti-air guns. Also walked around the inside of the ship, engine deck etc, it was pretty cramped but cool [editline]9th December 2011[/editline] switzerland is land locked so why would they have an aircraft carrier [editline]9th December 2011[/editline] The triple cannons came up from the front deck, the deck opened up and they rose from within. [editline]9th December 2011[/editline] Also remember delivering a really long speech to my crew on why fighting Sweden was a good idea

[editline]9th December 2011[/editline] Except mine is a creepy old cruise liner with my greatest fear living in the engine room.
I'm trying out a new form of WILD. Well, it's probably either normal WILD or a slight variation, I haven't succeeded in WILD yet anyway. Well, anyway, sometimes if I lie down with my eyes open, while trying to sleep, I start drifting off, sometimes a scenario starts slowly developing, someone says something, and I wake back up from that. I'm trying to A) Let this happen more commonly and B) Keep immersion and not wake up. Wish me luck.
Forgot to say, also almost had two WILDs last night but I woke up in the SP stage. But now, off to have more nightly adventures. shall report tomorrow
Had a dream that I was listening to some people talking about how orcs in Elder Scrolls are another type of humans, so I corrected them and told them how they're actually elves.

Read a book in one of my dreams last night. Had meaningful lines like "Those skills won't go tiranyi" and "People are like black shovels" so DEEP Also a really confusing plot dream about trying to beat a sadistic teacher while running from green ghosts controlling people with ultrasonic screaming, but we could block the sounds with sponges in our ears and got past them, ran down a spiral staircase (which was really long) with living bowling balls rolling down behind us (people with bowling ball heads) and eventually got down, and ran through a hall full of ghost controlled people who shot crystal spikes at us, and after that had a huge fight with the teacher. Both of us were armed with different kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc as armor, the fight lasted for a while but I finally knocked her out and managed to open the school doors, got outside and it was glorious
I had a short dream last night influenced by drunken shenanigans, the only thing I remember was reading a book on animals and finding a section on wolves. It said at the back "wolves that do not belong to a pack are called lone wolves. They hunt alone, possibly due to being ostracised by their pack for being little bitches. TV crews and photographers follow these lone wolves for nature documentaries - when a lone wolf is being followed in this manner, it is called a LOAF WOLF" the last thing I recall is thinking "surely that can't be right" and then waking up
