[editline]22nd January 2012[/editline] It's hard to explain. You ever had a dream where you woke up and it kind of took you a minute to gather your surroundings and determine that what just happened to you was a dream? It's like that but a lot more...intense. Harsher, I guess.
I have. I remember having this dream that I went through three uneventful days of school, where nobody talked to me or recognized me. When I was sitting at my desk, I just stared straight ahead. I woke up and cried. Must have been the meds I was on.
Had a dream that I was in a room, with other people in it, and some of them were bouncing balls from the walls in random directions. Because of dream luck, those balls kept hitting me. And caused me to go "unconscious" and in a hospital, where they determined I had water in my lungs. And then with one of the most uncomfortable feelings I've ever had in a dream, they stuck a long needle through my chest into my lungs and sucked the water out, one needle per side. I felt the needle travel inside me and puncture my lung and it felt fucking nasty

So I remember a dream quite well, but since Im on my ipod I will post the short version. My dropship delivered me and a random girl in this neighborhood, and somehow it was able to fly up again, but in the edge of he atmosphere it stopped and started to fall. Somehow, it transformed into a cardboard dollhouse and even when it looked like it stood stable on a rooftop or so, it'd still fall down more. Once it touched the ground, the roof I was on started to get slippery and obviously I slid off. When I was near the edge I decided to jump off, steering myself midflight to try and grab a branch, but I missed. So I hut the ground, died and woke up.
Has anyone here attempted the intentionally induced sleep paralysis technique? I am just asking to hear about your experiences.
I ate an apple a few days ago, along with the seeds, and had a lucid dream that night. The next day, I did the same and had a very vivid dream. I'll need to try it more, but I think eating a few apple seeds (about 4 or 5) a day can increase vividness or lucidity.
That reminds me, a while back I had a dream where I woke up in my old apartment, went into the bathroom and saw that my teeth had these big brown ovals on them, looking like rot. The proceeded to break open, and these beads fell into my mouth and turned into bugs, which crawled into my sinuses and throat. Jesus christ that was unpleasant.
i thought i was the only person who flew in a dream, that shit is fun
I had a dream where there was a black shadowey human shaped figure in my grandmas windows and when you looked at it it disapeared and appeared at the next window and etc...then my sister ran into the dark (pitch black dark) there was a ghostly lantern floating in the darkness. my sis dissapeared and so did the darkness and the black shadowey figure in the windows. I have no idea what this means. oh yeah she was considering selling herself to the devil.
First off, I'm new to all of this dream stuff. And beforehand, I sat 4 hours in a train with a girl that goes to class with me and I like her... I wrote this when I woke up and I was like da fuq was that
It started with me, showing the girl which was in the train with me and another girl from my class my house. Parents weren't around. Was pretty normal and then it started... the other girl from my class asked me if she could take a shower. For some weird reason I said: "Of course." She instantly went to the bathroom then. The other girl's name is Eva. I went to my room and she followed me. She discovered the Airsoft weapons that were standing around in my room. She asked if she could shoot with it. Once again I said: "Of course." She didn't know how to hold it so I stood right behind her showing her how to hold it. (It was a STEYR AUG1) I got a boner while I was standing right behind her. She noticed that but didn't say something at first. I sat down after I showed her how to hold it. And now comes the horrible part... She put the weapon away, and sat on my lap telling me that she would like to see my REAL WEAPON. I leaned back and she started unpacking my dick and starts sucking... and the other girl, which went to the shower, stood in the door frame(SHE ONLY HAD FUCKING UNDERWEAR ON) and was looking quiet surprised at us. Then came the moment when I though'd: "Wow that's fucked up. This must be a dream." Trollbrain: Of course it is and now you wake up with a boner!
What is this sorcery?
After 2 months I got the exact same dream, where in the end I snap the same guy's neck and say "Requiescat in Pace". what the fuck can this mean? The man getting killed by me doesnt look familiar.

Seriously. [editline]23rd January 2012[/editline]
i thought i was the only person who flew in a dream, that shit is fun
I love flying, but doing creative takeoffs is the best part. My favorite so far is outrunning the curve of the earth and running into the sky/space. Good times.
...apple seeds are poisonous in large amounts. Don't do that. Seriously.
Only in very large amounts, like 30 or so. Otherwise, they are very beneficial to your body if eaten daily in very small amounts. Also, had a WILD without sleep paralysis. Only problem was that I was forced to spin while walking down stairs.
Ever since I started taking medication for stress I have really vivid dreams. Does anyone know if vivid dreams means a deep sleep or a light slepp?
Ever since I started taking medication for stress I have really vivid dreams. Does anyone know if vivid dreams means a deep sleep or a light slepp?
What medication is it? Deep sleep, generally. Although a dream being vivid usually means you remembered it better, not that the dream itself was any different.
Had a dream where I flew around an RC Helicopter. The interesting part is that I was able to fly just as well as I can in real life.
I know this doesn't entirely count as a dream, but I hope it relates to sleep, if it doesn't please let me know and I'll snip this whole thing. Let me just start by saying I am in no way a believer in the paranormal, I do not also blame strange occurrences as paranormal. But what I have experienced and am about to share has left me without any of explanation. It all started 3 days ago, I finished what I was doing on the PC and decided to go to bed, it was around 23:30 and I usually don't go to bed as late as that; but I still found it difficult to get to sleep. So jump forward two hours later and I'm laying awake in bed, I was facing the wall. Now most of the time my family leaves the bathroom light on and that light comes into my room through the door, so when someone or something stands in the way it casts a shadow on the wall next to my bed (the same one I was facing at the time). All of a sudden a shadow starts to appear on the wall, it was immensely tall; the figure must have been about as tall as the doorframe. It stayed there for about 5 minutes before shrinking and eventually disappearing and I know it wasn't someone in this house: My parents or my sister would have made at least some noise before making their way to my doorway and my brothers are just too short (seriously, they're 3 years old) to make such a shadow. So the next night the same thing happens: I can't get to sleep and I lie in bed staring at the wall at about 01:30. Then I feel a sensation; as if someone is right next to me (you know the feeling when you can sense someone is right behind you when you can't see them? That's what I was feeling). I kept feeling that sensation for 10 minutes at which time I was completely unable to move, as if the figure that was also still was keeping me still at the same time. After the feeling left me I went back to sleep. And so the next day (which would be yesterday) I was in this same situation except this time I felt a feeling running down my back, as if someone was running their hand along it. And as it was touching me I saw in my mind disfigured faces and bodies; hair torn out of the scalp, eyes gouged out and one of them had their jaw ripped off as if it was done by hand. I knew none of them but they still felt familiar, as if I'd seen them before. Honestly guys I am fucking terrified to go back to sleep tonight, what do I do? :ohdear:
lotsa words
Sleep paralysis, bro. It's totally harmless, your brain is just really tired and working at about 50%, so weird stuff happens. None of it's real, it's all in your head, etc etc.

In all of my lucid dreams across the period from which I had started, I had never managed to summon anything until last night. It was weird, I kind of had to imagine the cold touch of glass on my hand to summon a vial of Lucid Dream Extender. Shit's tasty.

I actually started to get lucid the other night, what was the first thing brain thought... You'd better wake up... Was so close!
Is there any way to stop waking up with a boner :geno:
Is there any way to stop waking up with a boner :geno:
Stop having a penis.
Is there any way to stop waking up with a boner :geno:
No. That's just your brain making sure everything's working. You'll have that for...well, most of your life. I've heard old people mainly have sex in the morning because while old dudes can't get erections, they still get morning wood. That image will never leave you. Enjoy.
Damnit Zin, your shared knowledge of the day is anchored to the thought of an old guy having sex.
You know what's fun to do in dreams? Break physics. Need an example? Ok. I was in A solid white room, with a checker patterned floor. I walked to the edge of it, and stepped off with one foot. Gravity took over, and I starting turning downwards, only to land my foot on the opposite side of the platform and continue walking like nothing happened. Fuck physics. I'm in a dream.
