I had a dream that was a long :techno: presentation and live combat trial of the SCAR from Crysis, but with much more attachments.
I had a strange dream last night. I was in prison, except the cell was in place of a building on a small street, and there was a concrete staircase that didn't go anywhere. The floor was carpeted, and covered with random junk. Among the junk were styli for various touchscreen devices, which I was compelled to collect. I was told what it was like to be in solitary confinement, but it didn't sound all that bad (I'm a class B introvert, what can I say). Eventually I was on the street outside, and there was an angry, laser-beam shooting, fire-breathing Mark Zuckerberg. Picked up gas cans like in left for dead, threw them at him, and shot at them with a pistol I somehow had. The pistol didn't do much, but it eventually exploded, making the Zuckerbeast mad. After running away for a while, I was in a different dream.
Does listening to music before you sleep help with your dreams? I sometimes have hard times to fall asleep and I recently found the Inception OST music to be the perfect lullaby for me. How does actually eating b-vitamins help you sleep? It was mentioned here earlier so I'm just curious to the effect/benefits of it.
B-vitamins are supposed to help improve dream recall.
I will try MILD or WILD. If I succeed, I will pretend I am in BF3 :v:

It's really an individual thing though, it's hard to make broad generalizations when people have such different tastes in music. It definitely seems like it'd help for the music to be tied to the idea of dreaming, though, so the Inception soundtrack seems like it'd be about as helpful as you could get, barring files that literally say "you are dreaming" And as far as B-vitamins lol I dunno ¯\(°_o)/¯ So I had a dream last night that my mom's car broke down, so we all had to take the same vehicle, and we were even more rushed. Very soon after leaving, I realized I had forgot something I needed, so we headed back. I felt like there was something else I was supposed to remember, but there wasn't time, so I left again, and when I got dropped off at school I realized that I hadn't changed into jeans (I sleep wearing shorts). It was slightly embarrassing being the only one with shorts around, since it was only slightly above freezing. Really the only weird thing about this dream was just how... normal it was. That could legitimately happen some time. My mom also had a dream, which was quite a bit less likely... She was smoking pot with Obama
I'm gonna go to bed now, haven't had any dreams in about 2 months that I can remember. I guess I'll just fall asleep to telling myself "Youl'll dream tonight" and not taking any melatonin. Hope it'll work, good night
I hate it whenever I dream about something, like tonight, I remember where and what I was but I don't remember what I was doing.

Some people in the community swear by it, but I've never found it to be much of a help. Might be personal preference, though. Vitamin B improves recall significantly, as well as your heart and several other things. It's beneficial, just don't overdo it. And don't expect it to work right away, it takes a while. But it's a good thing, it means you're building up recall. I'm at a point now where I remember places and activities, but not fluidly. I'll remember specific situations, but never the whole picture. Which I guess is similar to real life, but still. It's annoying. Edit: although I should point out that that doesn't mean you'll never have recall. I'm in the middle of a transition between different types of recall, so I'm fairly bad at it. You'll get REALLY good at it, don't worry.
I've given up.
I've given up.
Your loss. I'm probably gonna start getting my ass on lucid this sunday, hopefully
Hopefully I'll have some QUALITY dreams tonight. Hopefully. My dream journal is horribly under detailed. It just has a butt ton of bullet points instead of detailed paragraphs, but WHATEVER. GOODNIGHT.
Anybody know what's going on with my space invader dream? :\
This vitamin B6 stuff is pretty great. I take 200mg a night, and i must say Ive been dreaming harder then a motherfucker. Last night my dream started out as a giant battle in a plain field with a few trees bordering it and the battle was between humans and something like an orc from lord of the rings but only consisted of like two rows of each. It was really intense because the angle i was looking at showed people dieing and like orcs getting axed in the face. Well we, the humans, were loosing so we ran away into what was kinda like if a chunk of ravenholm had been transported to this field. We ran inside a building that had a very nice lobby and scuttled down a secret staircase into a bunker that was white but with yellow lights. It was about the size of a college room dorm and only had a mattress in it. Well we hide from the orcs and I go back up to the lobby area where refuges are making a lot of noise. I talk to the head honcho, who was actually more like an old bar maid, and she says they will find us if these people don't shut up. So I spend some time yelling at everyone to shut up, they ignore me until something like the dementors from Harry potter fly above the glass ceiling. The people panic and all run down into the bunker. It then switches to night time and I'm still in the lobby sleeping on the floor with a sleeping bag. When one of those dementors comes in and says "Are you [my name]?" I look terrified and it uses one of its claws and rips off my face, including all the gore. Thats about all i can remember about that one. I had another one in which I was playing minecraft and I found glowstone in the side of a cliff. [editline]10th April 2011[/editline] Oh Wait and my fucking tooth fell out again, fourth time in a row. It was my canine this time
I didn't get ANY sleep last night because I'm sick as fuck and I had to sniffle or cough every 30 seconds. sat in my bed for seven hours doing fucking nothing
I can only dream lucid probably 1/3 of the time...and when I do, I try a simple action and end up waking up. Don't really know why though
I hate trying MILD. I keep saying "I want to lucid" or whatever but, it won't work, I go to sleep instead.
Lucid dreamed last night, had a fun time as a saboteur in the Soviet country of Boldovia. I've pretty much nailed weapon spawning in my dreams. I was able to think up a Makarov with accurate irons and working slide release. For anyone that wants to try doing this, I nearly memorized the picture on the wikipedia page for a day or so and watched a couple of youtube videos.
I haven't gone lucid in a while. This is how I see it: the difference between LD'ing and just plain dreaming is like playing through a game with cheats on or off. Im enjoying the storyline of my dreams now. Last night I was on a black operations team when the world ended (again) everything went to shit automatically: ICBM's activating and firing, 747's crashing into populated areas, Predator missiles taking out every vehicle in sight. After the initial apocalypse, every material on earth ripped itself apart. We were the only survivors. Later, I learned that the ones responsible were people who were a slightly different species than humans. As a result of all the nuclear shit that happened, my team could turn invisible when we wanted to. After a while, the other species reproduced to the point where they were normal and we were the "monsters". Occasionally, a small other-species boy started noticing things: twigs I stepped on, the sound of me walking of breathing, ect, while I was stealing food from his family. Nobody believed him when he saw a ghost. He kept trying to find me and I would play with him, tapping him on the shoulder or making a noise in another direction. Most fun I'd had in a dream for a while.
i don't know if anybody gives a shit, but i'm going to write a full account of my only lucid dream ever up here so I can have something to remember it by: I woke up in the military base from Avatar (James Cameron's). I got up and looked around. There were a lot of people I knew there running around but not making any eye contact with me. This struck me as strange so i looked down at my hands and for some reason, i just figured out i was dreaming. After becoming lucid i walked around a bit more and found my brother who was about to take off in one of those big-ass ships from avatar so i decided to get in and fly around with him. we did this for what felt like an hour and all of the sudden, my brother fucked somethingn up and grazed the side of a cliff with the ship. we exploded and i free fell for about a minute among debris and fire until I landed in the middle of a huge swamp (like the one from the second Lord of the Rings). I walked around for miles trying to find my brother and when i finally did, he said something about the end of the world. I, knowing that I was dreaming, figured it would be fun to become Iron Man and flew for miles until i found the source of some doomsday device which i was suddenly aware of. The doomsday device was in the middle of some desert and consisted of 9 tall pillars arranged in a circle with a radius of about a mile (think Sandtrap from Halo 3) A huge battle ensued with me fighting off hordes of robots similar to Elites from Halo. Except they were robots. I couldn't fight them off in time though, and the doomsday device fired a giant lazer into the sky. The sky turned blood red with black clouds n shit (kind of like Mordor from the Lord of the Rings). I decided to fly to NYC to find my family (wife n kids, which i don't have in real life, so i dont know where the fuck that came from...). I got to my house on this island in NY Harbor which probably doesn't exist and found out that Will Smith had taken my family hostage. I never got to see their faces because Will shot me in the face. AND THEN I WOKE UP. There it is. My lucid dream. In all it's glory.
I had a weird feeling when i was almost asleep one night that felt like my leg had a needle briefly puncture it. I thought nothing of it until about 30 seconds later when I got the feeling kind of like when you smoke too much weed or something and you hear a siren and start freaking out. I have no idea what could have caused this as my leg was fine when i checked it, but I think it might have something to do with me being on the border of consciousness and being asleep. It hasn't happened to me in a long time but it used to happen almost every night. Does anybody have an idea of what it was?
How long does Wild take?
How long does Wild take?
It depends. Like how drowsy you are, whether you woke up in the middle of the night, etcetera.
I haven't dreamed memorably in a while. I think I'm banana dependent :ohdear:
is there anyway to stop yourself from dreaming about something. I keep dreaming about my ex and it sucks
I dreamt I was banging a really hot dark black chick, and her kisses tasted of the finest chocolates.
I've been really busy lately, I've slept very little and haven't got too many dreams. But one particular thing about my dreams are, that I always notice that I am in a dream. I have control over my own actions, but I never try to alter my surroundings. I should try this night, since my school starts 10:45 tomorrow. Gotta get some banana and perhaps mix some cinnamon in some hot milk. What I want to achieve is a dream where I got a lot of roads with several things surrounding them, a dune-buggy like car and a set of weapons (main, sidearm and knife). I've had several dreams where I've been on the road in a car similar to the one in HL2. Some of the best dreams I've had.
Remember some parts of my dream last night. I remember I was in the science classroom at my school, and I had some gun. People I knew (mainly classmates) shot at some people who burst in to the room and I took cover behind a desk and I remember the ironsight being really shaky and my dreamself thinking "shit how do I use a gun properly" but I managed to use it in the end. Then it sort of shifted in to a scenario where I had to follow explicit instructions as if I was an actor. I also remember trying to fly a helicopter in ARMA2 on a fictional map and I kept crashing and burning. Civillians ran away. Also, I think I'm gonna start trying to LD again by going from the start onwards. So where should I restart? [editline]12th April 2011[/editline] someone on DV sent me that
Any way you can enhance the image without ruining the quality? I'm going to kill my eyes if I'm going to try and read that :smith: [editline]12th April 2011[/editline] Asking because I'm really really curious to the chart :unsmith:
Last night I has a dream where I teamed up with a Fossa (google it if you don't know what it is) and fought against an albino Tiger. I lost, and the Fossa ran away and the Tiger sat there with its paw on my head for a while, then I woke up. There was more before that, but I can't remember it; only brief flashes. Also it was in some kind of marble floored battle room with a tiered pyramid in the middle. That's where the tiger pinned my head down. EDIT: if anyone wants to try and interpret, be my guest.
