Jessops was for people who walk in and go "I don't know anything about photography, I didn't do any research myself, give me a camera, I have a wad of cash".
and for people who are pretty sure about what camera they want, but they're getting it from the internet so they go to jessops to get the chance to hold it in their hands to see if it feels nice but those people really weren't good for jessops
i just had one of those 24 fl.oz cans of Monster, lol holy shit, i feel like i can shit fire.
i bought a canon 70-200 f/2.8 from jessops today, didn't even know it was gonna go bust but then like an hour after i got home i saw it on the news. jessops is also for impatient people like me who want it NOW. buying stuff that expensive online always makes me want it sooner, i can't stand spending all day refreshing the parcel tracking page.

I'm looking for a good pair of sweat pants.
The four photo/essay I did for LCA (the university I want to go to) was good enough to get me an interview there
I'm looking for a good pair of sweat pants.
Victoria's Secret Pink line It's hard though to find them in darker colors, and for some reason it says pink on the butt and people laugh at me because of it, I don't really understand but they are comfortable
got my Cargo Collective up and running, any thoughts? i'm open to all critique because it needs to be good!
I would try to professionalize your writing a bit more. It comes off as campy, when it should be a bit more serious and directed. Being a professional is more about how professional you come off than anything else. As for the photos, your 35mm category is ace, lots of variety and the ordering is well done. The other two categories naturally have more repetition, as your portfolio grows maybe try to streamline some of the best into a general section. The theme is very good, easy to navigate and very mobile friendly. Overall it's a solid foundation, just work on writing a bit and perhaps strengthen the rest to match the quality of your 35mm category.
Thanks a lot for the input mate! I didn't want to come off as too formal because I am a very informal kinda guy (i turn up to suit/boot dinners in skinny jeans) and I felt like my bio should reflect that. But, as you say, if it is notably childish then I shall revise it. Thanks man! Yeahh I was thinking of doing a section titled "Portfolio" where it is what it is and the rest of the site is just an elaboration of that. I've added another section with the essay I did for Leeds College of Art, if anyone wanted to read it :)

Would you recommend having much text? Or just photos/video? Maybe a separate bio/about section?
I like the layout of mine, has an about me section and a small introduction to each of the columns I have
I'd say don't get too wordy if you can avoid
Is mine too wordy??
I just wish I could get the HTML for the theme so I didn't have to use Cargo. I want to be able to use my domain without upgrading.
sometimes when im really blazed i open up this thread and addicts lounge (in drug discussion) and forget which one im reading and get confused as to why a bunch of stoners are talking about photography related things.
I forget facepunch has other sections
yo quiero un cargocollective. :v

guys, if i take this (Canon Pixma MP250), scan developed film with it, open it in PS, and invert the negative, do you think that would work?
You have to have projected light behind the negative - hence dedicated flatbed negative scanners. Epson V300, Epson V500 if you want to do medium format.

I just posted in here about how I wouldn't need a portfolio and one day later a local bar asks me if I could provide them with a portfolio, recommendations by a friend and so on, now I need a portfolio within a week, that's pretty embarrassing, could I have a Cargo invite please?
