So this is interesting

I want to try this. I've always wanted to try the Sony STF lens but it's very expensive
My friend has one of those new iMacs with the retina displays, looking at photos on it is crazy. My pictures look so sharp omg
Had a rMBP since August, best thing since sliced bread.

I need a new computer and monitor setup, I'm using my netbook and it has a mild blue hue and 720p isn't enough definition so my sharpening is off sometimes. Are there monitors past 1080p other than macs? I really want to still use windows and have a good monitor. Just a pipe dream because I don't have money to fix my old PC, but I think it would be probably a better investment than any other stuff.
Sony does HDPI laptops I think?
Do they only have displays like that for laptops? I hate laptop sizes and would much rather a nice desktop.
Jacob's been insta'd

wow this is genius : http://www.juliusvonbismarck.com/bank/index.php?/projects/fulgurator-idee/
basically, it's a slave flash attached to a zoom lens firing through a mask, so that when someone else takes a picture with a flash, this flash fires aswell and makes a message appear in the image like:

I'm afraid that I can't help you as those are actual scratches and dust on the photos , I'm sure someone here knows how to.
I'm sure I read that someone scans a black frame of film and overlays it on there photos which sounds like a way it might work.

thanks anyways, i guess :v:
i'm pretty sure quite a few people here knows how it's done, so hopefully it's just a matter of time before someone comes along and will be able to teach me.

That is a really sweet idea.
Someone should take it to a club or an urbex evening and project images of ghosts without telling the other photographers.

Yep, the best way is to scan a blank piece of film, and overlay it on top, with something like 50% opacity. I've never actually done it because my pictures naturally have them, being on film, but that should probably get you what you want.
Yeah, that's how you do it, then you can also play around with blending modes.
It's going to be a crazy conjunction with Jupiter and the moon today, so if you're an astrophotographer this is a chance you can't miss.
100% cloud coverage here, woo
negative temperatures out the ass today I don't even want to go out to check for clouds
Well, it's been days. Still haven't touched the customization for Cargo. :(

i don't have any blank pieces of film nor a scanner, so that's not really going to help me out.
anyone who knows of other ways?
You're all ruining cargo, it's not a typical share you random pics site like tumblr or flickr.
You're all ruining cargo, it's not a typical share you random pics site like tumblr or flickr.
Who's doing that?
[editline]22nd January 2013[/editline]
I'm very upset right now. We took second place in the PSA video contest. Sure we still won a $1500 grant for our school, but we won 1st place the past two years, and I was looking forward to have and extra $1200 in my pocket. :(

I want to make one and point it at a celeb being photographed by the paparazzi.
The flashgun will display a message that says "Your Ad Here".

hey now, i'm still picking what exactly will go on mine

rig up a giant deviant art watermark or istock's logo with cross-lines all over

also all you guys need is an optical slave hot shoe ($10-20)
[t]http://i.imgur.com/f672Gmq.png[/t]
and to make one of these (old broken camera + attaching your current flash when you want and it's practically free)

http://www.diyphotography.net/convert-your-old-camera-to-a-backdrop-projector-in-10-easy-steps
his optical trigger appears to be a bit heftier than the budget option, though his setup is clearly meant for catching the flash off more distant targets with a long lens (thus smaller projection from farther away)
[t]http://i.imgur.com/gj7kJq4.png[/t]
I haven't even touched my cargo yet. I just have it reserved for when I am serious about putting something together worthy of showing. As is I don't have a single image that is good enough to me to even contemplate putting up.

you could just glue a lens onto a flash or something aswell and have it fire optically when it detects another flash (does it do that through the flash aswell?)
my cargo is for applying to fucking film school, so i'm trying my best
So they tested the speed booster

Most of the claims are true. When one is available for the FD mount I will likely get one, very impressed actually. Though I guess testing in the sun would be a bit different
i would certainly use this for film, if i had an e-mount camcorder

yours for the cheap, cheap price of $151,202!
