So, I ended up deleting my posts seeing as it probably came out as douchy and he probably was never going to respond to it anyways. Thanks for everybody's opinion on the situation though.
Looks like I'm now the third Officer of my campuses (Polytechnic, ASU) photography club. Time to learn more stuff in person. Fastest hard I've ever received. Hopefully we'll have some camera walk stuff and I'll be able to upload content more than once every 8 months.
I definitely would say go for it. It's (very) interesting, you learn a lot of useful stuff in mathematics, computers and programming that can be applied to many jobs outside of engineering, on top of all the engineering knowledge. It's also one of the highest paying degrees to have since it covers so many bases :v:.
I am so jealous. No university near me offers any interesting subjects.

You'd just need to time the walking.

That's a really good example actually. I just think walking would look neat because the subject is moving but not changing size, not the actual camera location
I could watch that all day.
Doing a dolly zoom for my short film this month, gon b exciting.

Sent my 75-300 and 18-55 to B+H photo to sell em. I called em after wondering why they're taking so long to send me back money and they said my 18-55 AF switch broke off. :( It wasn't like this when i sent it. Probably my fault since I just used a bunch of newspaper to protect it.
For me easy and cheap wrapping is using a paper towel to cover the lens, then wrapping that in several layers of newspaper, then shredding a bunch of newspaper and using that as insulation
It seems fishy, though. That whole part looks ripped off clean or something. I don't get how fall damage would make that part fall off so cleanly...
What do you all think of this guy? I got given a voucher for a photography workshop with him and I'm not too sure what to expect. I've had a look at his photos and he seems to know what he's doing. There's a distinct lack of ~Xtreme HDR~, so I suppose that's a good sign. The watermark and the slightly broken English throws me off a bit though.
Got a new tattoo today :) facebook+phone quality yo
I don't like it but I'm not the tattoo guy anyway. I know that if I ask you what its meaning is you'll either answer something personal or "it just looks good" but to be honest I can't understand why for the first one you'd need it permanently painted onto your body, either way it always seems very narcissistic to me. But it's not mine it's yours so yeah. Why did it take two takes ? It looks like it was pre-drawn more left.

I could never find something relevant or timeless enough to get a tattoo of, I'm too fickle.
That is gorgeous cue! bopez get a 5d2 somewhere with that lovely 50 1.4 on the front! im getting my pentax k1000 on the other side of my forearm at some point

If I were to get anything photo related, it would be a red ring on my wrist, but who knows what will happen in the future, there could be some reason that I ditch Canon for some other brand or something etc. I've always had this idea that my own tattoos should function more like jewelry than literal images. Another one I considered were Mugen's blue rings on wrists and ankles, but the meaning behind it in feudal Japan was ex-con/outlaw and it would feel like some silly anime fandom over something actually relevant to me personally.
