What do you mean in terms of strong/bright? I could go check the bulbs we have at school for their ratings if you want
i had braces for 4 years, even for 2 years of uni. shit sucks but my teeth now are like celebrity status so it's almost worth it
fuck, i want braces. when i was a little kid, my teeth were perfect, when i hit about 14, my wisdom teeth began to come in very early, and pushed a lot of my teeth over the years. once they were fully in, and had them pulled, my teeth are now fucked at the front. my bottom front teeth are crooked, and one of my top front teeth overlaps the other.

You had them a year longer than ill have them, mom said 30 months, maybe shorter. So I should get them off sometime senior year. Hopefully before senior photos
So the university photographic society I'm part of is asking for members to submit designs for the society's hoodies. This was mine:

Just been out in the street to try and take some photographs, it's 1:45am here and it's foggy as shit! Didn't yield any good results mind you, creative juices weren't flowing enough I don't think :(
got back from the ortho, going to get braces and teethpulled out

Show me da smile I've been waiting for this
I didn't know you knew i had braces! I'll show you sometime.
Also gonna rant a little, i assisted and worked alongside a photographer last year and he was nice and it was all a great time, i assisted him on some shoots here and there after that. Now he's shooting super big music clients such as demi lovato, justin bieber, fall out boy and ludacris, among many others. Now I'm not really into the whole pop scene or whatever but i did ask to assist on a few shoots just for experience with big clients, and any shots i would be allowed to take would have high value due to the high value content.
However he just completely ignores my messages, doesn't even respond, i have him on Facebook too. I'd rather get a solid no than nothing at all you know?
I'm gonna round this off with some advice to anyone, don't take it personally if the same happens to you. And keep your options for work experience wide, varied and open.
Face it blaze, you just want to meet JB

I wouldn't say no, having a well taken shot of Justin Bieber on my portfolio would mean that i would start to get jobs, people noticing me, wanting to work with me. It's all about 'value' in this world, it correlates directly to peoples level of interest. (Even works down to picking up chicks)
If someone see's a photo of Justin Bieber on my portfolio, i mean yeah its not the thing i want on there the most, but it could lead people to potentially think things such as "why has justin bieber allowed this guy to photograph him? How has he got to this position? he must be good due to these circumstances. I'll hire him if Justin trusts this dude."
Anything helps to step forward i suppose, in the meantime i am staying true to myself and finding my own path to photography and discovering which style and genre i want to pursue.
It's sickening that this is how the world works. I haven't found myself in the position yet but I'm sure I will sometime in the next few years where I have to shoot something or do something that I don't want to do, only further myself professionally.

i still believe it will beat having a regular desk job.
At 18 years old I have already had a desk job, worked for a social research firm for about 8 months, was awful cold calling people asking them to do surveys for 8 hours every other day. Never again will I work behind a desk unless it's my own office and in which case it will be a super cool office full of awesome things.
just dropping by to say that you guys are all pretty awesome
that's all

you will regret that when you hear a jazz record
what makes you so sure i dont already listen to jazz? music taste fluctuates with me but as long as it has heart, soul, meaning and self-respect then I will usually enjoy it.
Also, I open carboard boxes and place the contents in plastic boxes for my fix of money, I also supervise schoolkids at my secondary school/6th form.. Great fun!
Just a joke mate, I love some metal bands as well. That being said you will probably regret getting that tattoo big time.
I'm unemployed as my day job. I do photo/video shoots for food
I don't think I will to be honest, it's not just a "hey i like this band" tattoo; it's also a tribute to the late/great Paul Grey. He had the same design on his arm too. He was the guy who first made me pick up a bass and start playing!

Well I would say wattage, but since I'm trying to build my own LED light setup it'd be different. If you were able to get the lumens/cd of the bulb that would be amazing, but probably the type would be enough for me to find it on my own.
i recently worked at gamestop as my day job, was laid off because it was just a seasonal position. my family has bought a bar, might barback as my dayjob now.

how long did this take? i remember when i used to listen to them, but that was a loooong time ago. i'm not sure if they've evolved much past anger, seeing as how corey was a manic alcoholic, on the verge of suicide whenever i had listened to them. however, the was back in the days of Iowa and their self-titled album. much too hard for my tastes now.
The girl that does my tattoos is an apprentice so they take a lot longer than usual. It took two sessions, one of 2 hours to line everything up and then 3 hours to colour it all in.
They've gotten a lot softer than Iowa now, still heavy don't get me wrong - the passion is still their in every song they write, but they've developed into a more sophisticated sound that speaks of more emotions that just the anger and hate that Corey used to feel. To me they are one of the most well rounded bands as far as music technicalities go, they push barriers and aren't afraid to write songs in any way they like. I am so excited to be seeing them live again in the summer!!

i saw them once back in '08, concert was crazy. i was high as hell, but i remember specific highlights of it. i didn't want to go initially seeing as how i wasn't really a fan of them at that point anymore, but my brother insisted on the terms that it would be something i would never forget. he was right, it was very fun, Coheed & Cambria or however the hell you spell their name played also, but they were boo'd off stage about a quarter into their set.
SPEAKING OF BANDS, This Town Needs Guns, one of my all time, favorite bands is coming here in may, and i am so damn stoked. i have no idea why they'd come to this shit hole, but i wondered the same with Maps & Atlases, saw them also, and that was the SHIT. can't wait for may to roll around, shit, by then, i MAY (herherherhsahs) have enough gear to record/make a decent video of them preforming.
Saw them in '09 and it ranks in my top three of best live shows ever, along side Red Hot Chili Peppers and Enter Shikari (I can never decided which is the top spot)
