so what, it produces nice footage
can you find me better for £40?
I wouldn't trust putting £1000 worth of camera and lens on it, for sure.

Same applies.
I'd expect a leg to snap off or something when carrying it on your shoulder.

Yea. I'm going to keep searching for a better one. Also, do you mean the H4n? Because the H4 is discontinued.
I just thought of the silliest body + lens pair, D40 and a 600mm f/4 VR. :v:

the ICE thing is software
honestly it's total shit, this is what happened to a scan when I had the ICE stuff turned on and on 'quality' mode.

I don't even know what it's supposed to be doing
I don't even know what it's supposed to be doing
It's supposed to remove dust and scratches, but it doesn't work with all films.
Limitations of Digital ICE
Digital ICE is used to detect scratches and dust during transparent film scan and is not applicable for opaque document scanning. Where Chromogenic black-and-white films are supported by Digital ICE, other black-and-white films containing metallic silver (which form from silver halides during the development process of the film) are not. This is because the long wave infrared light passes through the slide but not through dust particles.
GET HERE
Been set up to do some photography of kitchens and shit for an architectural firm.? The photos they've included are taken by a terrible photographer who has exposure issues and some are even from a standard point and shoot so i should be fine.
How hard can it be it's just cabinets and shit, surely. Probably gonna rent out a 35mm or a 28mm for it too. Could get anywhere from £100 to £500 a time if they like the stuff.

[editline]30th January 2012[/editline]
aw yas i have a 600D
blaze make sure you are using about as wide as you can get. i'd recommend renting out a 28mm if you can, but 24mm if they have it.

I agree, a canon 14mm f/2.8 would be great as well.

Both are superb lenses, the 14-24 being das uber lenz. You'll have amazing fun with either. I went with the 10-24 because of the perspective at 10mm.

Loving the picture quality on my new 70-300mm VR.
Also, didn't NASA buy a bunch of 14-24 lenses from Nikon along with some D3S cameras?

Nasa has been using Nikons for decades.
The ISS is full of multiples of about every nikon professional body and professional lens.
It's because it's okay to leave Nikon's behind when they leave and let them burn up in the atmosphere.

Anyone know the best way for me to start if I want to get into sports/news photography?
