no word on our mystery employer yet, though my friend has the day off today so he's digging for ways to access overseas information.

there's three Steve/Stephen Ottos who live/have lived in Dayton who are on record, one with a few aliases that are just name shortenings like 's-otto'. two are in their early 40's right now, the third almost 60. It'd cost $3 to request criminal records from the local sheriff's department via mail, heh
Anybody ever watch The Killing Fields? About an American photojournalist in Cambodia during a massacre. Watching it right now, pretty good film.
Will check it out, thanks. I looked at some films that involved Photography heavily, particularly City of God and One Hour Photo. Both fantastic films worth seeing.
Anyone happen to have, or know of a good picture with motion blur?

apparently my accent is cool
I love how confident the Scottish accent is.
I don't think I've ever heard a feeble scotsman in my life.

Start smoking 20 packs a day, get an even better voice - then it won't matter if you're a weak shit

at first I thought "cool"
but then I started questioning what they were even looking at for reference
It's been really friggin cold here all day, with temperatures ranging from -14 degrees Celcius (6.8 F) to -23 degrees Celcius (-9.4 F) where I've been.
It's very beautiful everywhere, but going out is not tempting, and when you actually get out and you've got your camera with you, you don't want to take off your giant gloves to use it because it feels like your hands are going to fall off.

Sweating over here in Finland
[editline]3rd February 2012[/editline]
My camera would disintegrate if I took it outside.

I remember last year when a friend of mine on these forums got temps like that. He couldn't keep his eyes open too long outside because of it.

Estonia is pretty cool alright.
Does anyone want a Zenit body? Theres a shop near me that has a
Zenit E (Moscow Olympics)
Zenit EM (Moscow Olympics)
Zenit 11
They are £10 each and I'll send them for £5 on top of that, only to the UK.
Theres a lot of other stuff if anyone wants me to keep an eye out for something
Theres also a Fujica with the 55 mm lens for £10.
my girlfriend has expressed an interest in going outside and taking photos.
i approve of this.
I need to take a picture of a friends eye for something, which lens do you guys think will work best? Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 fisheye, Canon 18-55 f/3.5-5.6, or a Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6? I'm not sure if I should shoot further back but zoomed in, or just close up but zoomed out. I'll be able to crop the surrounding area so it's just the eye in PP if necessary.
The 18-55 it has crazy macro
your accent is fucking sweet
ewan mcgregor style
so many people love my accent it's great
