Do you regularly use the phrase "Yer a fookin coont"?
yes
I also call people fannies, wankers, tosspots, bellends, shafts, bum pirates, batty boys, dick gobblers and yesterday I phoned someone and told them I was going to hang them with their own spinal cord.
FINE

I have it. It's a nice lens
I know someone asked a while back, but I don't remember seeing a response. What happened with the Winter Photo Contest?
Apparently the decision was already made but Sumap is too lazy to update or something. I'm not too sure.

there was a miscommunication in getting people to coordinate their favorites. I PM'd everyone the other day and found out some email never made it through, so now that we got that all sorted it'll just be a short while longer.
sorry for the huge delay and all that, I think a few of us have been too busy to even realize this in the first place, heh

Really busy lately (I've got Calculus, AP Physics and Programming in the same semester :suicide:) , but yeah, like Dai Said, there was a ton of missed communication, I really should have planned the judging part a bit better.
Missed the chance to shoot a barn owl peering into a crashed car, as i reached for my camera it flew off :(
Is anyone planning to recreate/open another which camera is right for me thread?
Gear discussion basically covers it.

So my bike has broken down already before I got to ride it. The ignition coil died after going 20 meters down my road...fuck.
so you did ride it
Well for 5 seconds yeah.
To anyone who has restored a camera themselves, how'd you go about removing the leather/stamped rubber stuff on a camera, and what'd you reattach it with?
carefully peeling back, using an exacto knife to reach under and gently pry it up, but that's only if I need to get at a screw, which only happened once (and it was already coming apart).
I've touched up corners/edges with superglue, Probably not a good idea if you're going to have to open it back up again, though. I only did it on ones that are just collecting dust anyways

Yea I need to get to the film advance gears and stuff, screws are under it. I saw while googling it people saying contact cement, but that sounds too permanent also...
