how does it stay shut?
There's a snap band in the middle that keeps it rolled up.
if I have to, i just wrap some of my gear in a hoodie tightly. Though this seems like a better method to store lenses if you dont have a camera bag
i gave blaze my phone no at 2am and forgot until he texted me, and i didn't have him as a contact

I've had a few instances when this one guy got a hold of my phone number and tried calling and being all "I know where you live". I think I bored him to death by talking his ear off about all the driving I did that day

A shame no one I know uses Google+, I quite liked it.
ebay-like website from my country sends me a valentines day newsletter
advertises D-SLRs as a "great gift" in the "Getting to know eachother" category, which is a step up from "We're friends"

That lens is a 50mm f1.8, that number is the size of the filter thread.

I don't get it.
That's the filter size, not the lens focal length.
I remember a craigslist ad around here where the guy was selling a bunch of '52 mm professional lenses and a 67', the price based on how heavy they were
I didn't even bother looking into it
also is it just me or do that canon nifty fifty and other similar primes look incredibly cheap and plastic like some third-party manufacturer designed them?

I should pick the habit back up of posting stuff there and luring my friends in
What sort of lens should I use for interior photos? My dad is a real estate agent and my 18-55mm kit lens doesn't seem to cut it.
Should I look into a wide angle 10mm lens??
The idea behind the pictures is to make the rooms look super large

"Topman" 28 Mm F/ 2,8. It looks like a bargain bin toy.

I have an identical lens by hanimex
it's glorious, and even though it looks super tiny it still has a nice machined metal quality to the build. Them canon lenses look like really generic molded plastic

Holy shit
Might buy it then, did you find it for around $100? That's the price the Topman one has.
My PSA just aired during American Idol. I love seeing my hard work on TV.
Thanks to everyone who voted! Not 100% we won, but by the looks of it, we did.
New to photography, tons of stupid questions coming. Asking here because it'll bring (some more) life to the photography section(google can only be so helpful).
Are there any tricks to shooting on a body of water and eliminated/limiting the amount of reflection you see on it? I'm wording this poorly.

You can use a polarizer filter.

I got it in a bundle of stuff.
-somewhat busted Nikon FE (black body, short in battery wiring that needs fixing)
-2 50mm 1.8's, one with a badly bent up rubber hood thingy (removed it easily), the other with a strange gold dust all over the inside, and can't focus to infinite due to some grit in the ring
-hanimex 28mm 2.8
-hanimex 70-200 4.5
$100 total
lens is worth it though (if that one is in good condition), I love it.

well, the build-quality is incredibly cheap, but that's what makes it so affordable I guess
During post processing what are the dimensions you guys put when you resize your photos. (If you resize your photos at all.)
