Take a photo of him getting stoned, smoking in portraits makes them 90% more ~deep~.[sp]At least according to Facebook and Deviant Art[/sp]

when you're using a IR remote, do you have to point it directly at the camera or is it enough to just stand pretty much in front of it?

If you can see the sensor from where you are (within range of course) it will work. If there is enough white near the camera, say a wall, you can get it to bounce a little bit. Pretty much like a TV.
Before I had radios, I actually ghetto rigged a foil reflector to use an IR remote from behind the camera.

okay, thanks.
would you say it's worth the extra cost for a radio one?

Generally, yes. It appears there isn't much out there compatible with Sony though, unless you've already found one.
This was the most reasonably priced, seemingly decent one I could find.

how about this one?
It probably works, but obviously it might have reliability/quality issues. It's cheap though.
I'd go for it.
I got one of them IR remotes today.
Works p. well, but it's fairly annoying that it doesn't work through the lens (obviously), and only at a certain range.
Also got an ND filter, so I'm looking forward to trying some blurry lakes / rivers and such:

naw, urban outfitters cameras are so last year
I got this at hot topic
the hot topic era is so old (2005), it's come around full circle again as 'vintage'.

This thing is so much better than the old kit strap I had attached to it, well worth the money imo.
the plumbing in my house is fucked and i can't take a shower or use the bathroom

Sorry to sound like a complete dick but what is this? I've never seen one before
Sorry to sound like a complete dick but what is this? I've never seen one before
that is a camera with a strap attached to it.
that is a camera with a strap attached to it.
oh right, i never knew!
I was actually wondering why the strap is on the bottom
I'd be terrified of the screw coming loose.
My friend has one of those straps. It annoys him when he's out and it's raining, because his camera (and mine) is only weather sealed on the top (Not on the battery lid for example), so he has to hold it all th time.
