Post the piicccss
i kind of don't have a DSLR right now [editline]21st May 2012[/editline] http://www.manfrotto.com/394-photo-movie-monopod that's it [editline]21st May 2012[/editline]
explain the use of a monopod?
holding the camera high, getting stable video without having to set up, all kinds of lovely protest needs
couldnt you just take out the middle post from a tripod? but i can see why that would be useful now:)
couldnt you just take out the middle post from a tripod? but i can see why that would be useful now:)
can't extend the middle post. it's useful anyway, i really like it
How do I make my pictures not look shit? I don't have a high quality DSLR or anything, just a mid-range bridge camera. Every picture I take just looks bad to me.
Just get a film camera, if you scan it yourself (using the legendary epson V500 Elite) then you can get up to 40 megapixels per photo. A regular point and shoot photo on film generally doesn't look point and shoot, plus film cameras are generally cheap.
nasa eclipse shot hnng
They should really make some sorta monopod/tripod hybrid abomination
nasa eclipse shot hnng
I don't believe that nebula. Please prove me wrong. I want to believe.
Man NASA renders really good photographs
I wish I had a truck sized telescope camera. Maybe my pictures would look good then. :C
I don't believe that nebula. Please prove me wrong. I want to believe.
I'm kinda iffy about it too, the shadow on the clouds looks perfect, but the size of the moon/sun in the frame throws me off, and the nebula is definitely not something you'd just see when exposing for that shot also that cut off watermark is buggin' me, and I'm not seeing many sources on the pic it's a cool picture, even if it's edited though
It's fake, the water mark says "3D" on it and if the milky way (not a nebula) was that visible, so would all the stars (way more than shown in the image) above and below it, nevermind that no camera has that kind of dynamic range to properly expose the earth and still have the milky way in the image. The milky way is also too thin if a lens of that focal length was used (it must be long lens since the moon is so big). Screams fake and I don't know how anyone could believe it.
I wish I had a truck sized telescope camera. Maybe my pictures would look good then. :C
Buy a D800E.
Just got my first DSLR, a Nikon D5100, along with a few other goodies
I feel like a huge douche shooting video with my iPad I wish I had a 5D MKII :suicide:
I wish I had a EOS-1Ds Mark III. Good thing is I'm perfectly capable of producing nice things with my 60d.
stop wishing you had more equipment and go take some photos
stop wishing you had more equipment and go take some photos
 I need to. Photo final is coming up and I need to do my Food Killer book. I bought some caution tape to put on the cover of the book I'm making to make it more creative. I think it'll look good. Any idears on what food I should use? I'm thinking just stick to the basic apple, orange, banana deal, but I'm not quite sure if a human should be the killer, or like a box of cereal. (Heh. Get it? Cereal killer :downs:)
I feel like a huge douche shooting video with my iPad I wish I had a 5D MKII :suicide:
the last convention I went to was a small one, and this guy with a running synthetic leg and shorts was walking around taking pictures of everything using his ipad and it was the goofiest thing ever you could hear people the whole time saying "did you see that dude with the ipad oh man that guy's crazy" I thought it was a little goofy and didn't think much of it but then he commandeered my laptop while I was working on some commissions and signed into dropbox to transfer crap off his ipad >:I on the plus side I learned the ipad takes some really decent photos [editline]21st May 2012[/editline]
stop wishing you had more equipment and go take some photos
I wish I had more photos to take with all this equipment
I don't believe that nebula. Please prove me wrong. I want to believe.
That's the center of the milky way
i've decided on why i hate the fact that camera phones are getting better and the sudden influx of instagram and such really really pisses me off: it belittles everything we do e.g. buying expensive kit, putting in the time to get the images and all the post processing we do
That looks like my nex
I am going to go to the park to make a photoseries of dogs and their owners. My plan is to take headshots of the owners and dogs, cut them in half right between the eyes(the pictures, not the dogs and owners) and paste both halves together. I'm going to do this for about twenty random strangers and see if it makes an interesting subject and coffeetablebook. Gonna be fun I think
Are you going to greet them and ask if you may take a picture of them and their dog?
holding them at gunpoint is way more effective!
Are you going to greet them and ask if you may take a picture of them and their dog?
Bitches better recognize my authority Nah I just said I was working on a series of photos and asked them if they wanted to participate I got one woman to say yes. It was a 100% succes rate because I only saw one person with a dog on my walk this morning
