bopie said it was directly inverse though? I was sure that inverse meant the opposite of... [editline]9th June 2012[/editline] ah i suppose it depends how you take those words into account, just I tend to think of it as automatically meaning the opposite of rather than what you're getting at
4 hours later and i'm still confused by this for it be higher number = greater penis size it should be directly proportional, inversely proportional is what you say when you want to say as one goes up, the other goes down just never heard "directly inverse" used for this situation either way in my life. I know I shouldn't care this much, but my mind is full of confusion in a lot of things right now... My ex girlfriend had cheated on me multiple times before breaking up with me, regardless I still gave her a second chance. I actually still want her back, because I actually love her. Most people I know would say that's stupid, but one thing i've noticed about relationships that work out long term is that it's because people are willing to forgive mistakes, even great ones.
Just missed my flight thanks to customs. Now I get to spend 12 lovely hours in Seattle waiting for the next one.
Okay, so I'll be the photographer at the upcoming graduations at the end of this month. The setting is the New Luxor Theater, which has a huge theater hall. I was going to lend a Canon 400mm f/2.8L IS to do the job from the back of the place, but I'm still doubting if this focal length isn't too long for me to use there. From the plece where i'm standing to the place where I would need to take pictures of (mostly people, and sometimes more than 1 person) is about 30 to 40 meters away. And I don't know for sure yet if I am going to do full body photos or just upper torso, could be that I will doing both. I have the possibility to lend other lenses like the 300mm f/2.8L IS and the 70-200L f/2.8 IS II. I already have covered the normal zoom range with my 28-80mm f/2.8-4L, and maybe something that's also important: I will be using a 1.3x crop camera OR fullframe. Weight of the lenses isn't a issue either because I will be using a monopod. What do you people think ? Do I really need 400mm or would it be more wise to just take the 300mm or even less?
One's penis size is directly inverse to the total number of Tumblr notes acquired.
so if I favorite more than I get I'm safe if not bigger? because that kuzko cosplay is still making the fucking rounds at 18k and my latest work of art is around 8k [t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4x483Gqj61rp3ua6o2_500.jpg[/t] [t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4x483Gqj61rp3ua6o3_500.jpg[/t] [t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4x483Gqj61rp3ua6o5_500.jpg[/t] [t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4x483Gqj61rp3ua6o6_500.jpg[/t] also I guess there's also a photo I took seriously around 2400 right now. finally one of my photos took off [t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1argzbd9H1r223xwo1_500.jpg[/t]
So, I've got over 1,000 photos on my Flickr now... Bopie, what was that Flickr app that downloads them for you? I think it was about time I backed them all up.
All the tourists were out in my city yesterday when I was taking street shots, and my god, everyone was walking around with their Canon's with their flashes on in ultra harsh sunlight; I was taking shots at 1/4000 - 1/6000 at f/8 or so, and these people have their flashes on! Probably because they're in auto or something. I just wish they'd take a second and learn a bit about their expensive camera, it'd make their shots that much better, and probably save battery haha! It really isn't that difficult either, but oh well, what can you do. I did see a guy that looked like he had a Nikon D3, D4 or something. Big ass camera.
now and again when I'm down in chicago, I tend to catch the same lady working photoshoots around the bridge on state street with a model, someone carrying junk, and maybe a few of the model's friends/other models or whatever. She totes around a big canon with huge L glass, and has a large flash with a diffuser capped on the front of it. It seemed silly at first glance but I realized pretty quick she always shot with the sun behind the models late in the afternoon, so the flash is being used for fill to make the background/edge highlights not explode compared to their properly exposed faces. Not sure if the tiny flash-head-sized-diffuser thing does anything for her though
Had my first period of photography. Was told to google images and put them in a word document. Fuck my life. Although, the some people in the other class just googled my photos and used them :P
At first I just read the first four words and was kinda shocked.

I'm sorry to say, but you're really wasting your time. Do some useful courses in school then do photography at university (in my experience, from taking and teaching college photo courses, they're not much better, so university level is definitely the best).

So I'm at the architect firm that I always complain about (proshooter, chic fil a, chicago back and forth haberdashery, etc), working as a subcontractor on the chick project to fix a massive mistake regarding the signs they already installed on location. Turns out the terrible LED light falloff that my old renderings showed would be a retarded problem ended up being a retarded problem. I've been working between friday and today on lighting experiments using a giant sign mockup they custom built for me, showing how to fix this junk. I also created textures for various models and set up a video to display a project of theirs to replace the terrible video they had before The man who owns the place was ecstatic with my work I also heard the higher up i used to work through talking about trying to hire me in full time This is so exciting ff
I took my camera for a spin yesterday. Keep in mind I'm a total beginner to this, so any advice would be great. I'm having a hard time finding the subject in the first image, and the last is way too dark. [editline]11th June 2012[/editline] what camera are you using?
home from workin', I've put in two ~14-15 hour days. I'll have worked a full 40 hour workweek halfway through day three, haha. here's the thing I'm workin' on fixing [t]http://i.imgur.com/nZnZ7.jpg[/t] go figure, making the letters raised, opaque and unlit by anything but LEDs built into a lip, they don't get light people think the place is closed because the god forsaken letters don't light up and they ignored when my physically accurate lighting simulations showed this would happen so here's my current workstation and hopefully, new desk. 1- right off the highway, I like the ambient drone of cars in the morning and late afternoon already 2- view over my monitors of the nice corner of the top floor, a conference center and the office of the bossman who the company is named after 3- my two-man cubicle in which I'm allowed to spread out equipment as I work on stuff, going to be building 4 or 5 new computers and setting them up with software tomorrow so I'll need it. 4- my dad sits behind that pillar with 4 monitors. It's nice having him close by to coordinate our projects but still not feel like he's hovering over my shoulder like pretty much my entire life working with him. Silly thought given anyone walking either direction in the halls can see what's on at least one of my monitors but it's all curiosity instead of annoyance 5/6- the 2' tall prototype sign they built for me to experiment and take light measurements with using variable diffusers and junk. If they don't want it afterwards I might take it home, haha so, the thing is, the main manager/IT/everything guy who we worked with when originally doing projects for the architects is a cool guy. I noticed him talking to my dad, overheard him saying "so we need someone to help me out. I got a bunch of computers to build, some 3D work to tweak, maybe some photoshopping, a little drafting, some recon work... know anybody who can do that?", looked over at me and smirked before they kept talking. asdf also I think I've already lost count of how many people have asked me how old I was, or implied they thought I was young by asking things like "so... are you still in schooool... or are you taking college classes now, orrrrr?". Turned out I was older than that guy. I'm just excited, I've been living on the edge of my pants since february when they initially bought my company out and didn't have room to hire me in, I survived and started paying rent by immediately forming my own microbusiness doing freelance illustration work, since I'm short on a car at the moment and that puts a bit of a hindrance on photo work. Kind of a bonus that I can carpool and save money on gas, probably would stay under the mileage cap if I were to lease a good car and we traded off driving
That's so cool, I wish I had a cool job:/
I have a german shepard, didn't train him, most useful thing he does is lie down in the way and stand in the way and always be in the way. I do see people walking the fuck aside when I walk him, though, which I always find funny since he won't bite them unless they're grilled and properly spiced or something

[editline]11th June 2012[/editline] what camera are you using?
It's a Nikon D60. I couldn't zoom in any more with the first one cause I only had a 18-55mm lens, and I was worried if I came any closer he'd run off. Could have cropped the image though. As for the last one, I really couldn't figure out how to configure my camera properly so you could still see the foreground without blowing the hell out of the road at the end of the path, so any help there would be nice too. What about the rest of them though?
Samuka, firstly, Nikon D60 Master Race - brofist. Secondly, your photos lack subjects, stop taking photos of nothing. People, animals, dogs, bicycles, chairs, something that does not belong in the background, put these in your photos if you want them to be better. In terms of technical lighting, there's no way of getting around that sort of contrast. Your job as a photographer is to pick the spot with the best lighting, the nice camera can't fix everything. I know I'm being harsh but I want you to improve :)

You were a lot more helpful than the people on the Creative Photography thread.
