Got an offer from a local music channel to film a live concert of one of their productions. Formed a team of three photographers, 3 DSLRs and a GoPro 2 for the extra spice, gave them my humble offer.
Got a call today, they got a guy who will do it thrice the price, with one camera.
Fantastic then, enjoy your shitfaced production.
Addicted to ffflckr now.
I'm just falling through it, and it's stopping me from working.
Is there any way to stop this?

I thought I had it set for that, but I guess that's only when I make a new document. How exactly do I have it with sRGB?
Thanks, I'll work on trying to photoshop out the beam.
edit: don't bother answering that I'll just google it.
How do you guys stitch panoramas together?

I use Hugin.
Got a variable ND filter in the mail! Pretty fun to mess with, and doesn't have purple casting like i thought. Lowers sharpness a bit but it's not bad for $12

Trying to photoshop that damn pole out, but freaking content aware won't work for the life of me.
Watch the guy trying to figure out why his photos are all coming out black.

So, I've got my first TRULY paid senior shoot tomorrow. I've done a lot of work "for donation", just saying 'yeah, look, I'd like to be compensated for my work but I'll leave it up to you to determine the worth of the product I delivered.', but this is the first time that I've been very up front about a price that I expect for the product and service I deliver.
And let me tell you what, I've got the jitters something fierce. Does anyone have good advice for helping me stay calm, professional, and live up to my price and deliver a solid product?

Confidence, your not going out there to take images beyond you ability just because your getting paid, your going out and shooting the things you love at your best ability and getting paid on top of it. You will do fine.
I know facepunch has members from various countrys so could you help me.
I need to know what I would have to say or have wrote down to get 35mm film in a shop, could someone tell me what it would be in French and German, which should cover what I'll need to know
In German.
kann ich bitte eine 35mm filme haben.
Also 35 is said 'fünf-und-dreissig.'
So it would be 'kann ich bitte eine fünf-und-dreissig millimeter filme haben.
God thats a would be a pain to say. I think I may end up sticking to the British ways, speaking slow and deliberately as they still won't understand.
most german people speak english anyway, you should be fine.
I'll look for a photographic store and if anything 35mm film should be workable. I was thinking of writing it on paper at first, anyway this is all just a precaution as theres a chance I'm going on a bit of a Euro trip.
So do German super markets sell 35mm film or is it a bit more specialized?
Well some do, some don't, you'll just have to look around in the store. I know that for example Aldi and Müller got film.
If you think the store might have some but can't find it I guess they'd understand if you show them your camera.
If you go to more "touristy" places they should have some everywhere in those souvenir shops
I'm not really going on a touristy holiday, so it would be a a case of diving into a supermarket while the rest are quickly grabbing some food so we can get back on the road to the places we are visiting.
But thanks I wasn't sure if there would be Aldi or anywhere that might sell it, so at least I should be able to find some if I look for it.

Actually it is "Kann ich bitte eineN fünfunddreissig Millimeter Film_ haben."
Because 'der Film' is masculin and it singular so no e on the end.
/grammar nazi
Maybe helpfull regarding to buying film:
Do you sell rolls of film for cameras / Verkaufen Sie Filmrollen für Kameras(or Fotoapparate)
Do you know a Shop that sells film / Kennen Sie ein Geschäft das Filmrollen (für Fotoapparate) verkauft.
In the end, if you have a phone with wifi capabilities you could try to search google for a "Fotogeschäft" in the town you currently are.
that god damn masculine film. Thanks though.
Thanks for the German help.
Could anyone be a helpful person and send me some money on paypal.

I need £8 to pay for things on ebay
(the money will be repayed in the future)
Do you even see how much of a scam that looks, i mean I'm sure you're not intending to do any wrong and are intending to repay it. But why should some random people on the internet give you cash? It's weird mang
It wouldn't be the first time random people have given me money for no reason.
I have the money to pay it back just paypal won't let me use it yet.
I'm shitty at web coding, and I'd like to make a cheap but nice portifolio. Any recommendations?

I dont have any recommendations but images speak for themselves, I get sick of these portfolios that have to use some weird html5 effects on zoom ins and crap. Pick something simple, for my sake!

If you have questions regarding PHP you can PM me and I'll try to help :)
If you want some interactive parts on your website you could try to use jQuery (a Javascript framework) or just download some premade Javascript Plugins like a lightbox (if you click on an image it becomes bigger and everything outside gets shadowed.
If you don't want to program you could always use some CMS.
I've used jQurery before and know my way around it to an extent. However I'm having two minor CSS-related problems; think you could help?
Well, I could try. I'm not quite the guy who makes his web apps look nice but rather make them function.
