And you have just as little proof disproving the existence of God and souls as religious people. In my honest opinion, the truly logical path is agnosticism. I am a non-denominational Christian, and I know that in virtually all religions, different degrees of harm are recognized. I'm pretty sure that prior to three months in the womb, the nervous systems of developing babies aren't active at all, hence they are not conscious beings yet. At this point in time, ending the life of the baby would be like eating a walnut. Are you killing a tree? No, of course not. But, some potential has been lost. I think abortion should be legalized for the first three months of term. I don't want to see human beings controlling the bodies of other human beings, and making abortion illegal would be controlling the bodies of women.

We base our whole understanding of the universe on what is logical, and what is not. Personally, I don't think it's too logical to believe that something all powerful created the universe, and predated it, and had the power to create matter, and had the power to give "me" consciousness.
