This looks very fun, probably gonna buy it, really enjoyed the past 3.
if its anything like Arkham city it'll be fucking amazing
So everyone saw that Batman uppercutted a guy into the air and then proceeded to have the Batmobile fire a rubber bullet at his spine while in mid-air right?
Because that was awesome.
Also I guess this means Rocksteady do treat Origins as canon since that Firefly design was from Origins.
As well as that the Electrocutioner re-appeared in the AK prequel comic [sp]He got his ass kicked by Batman and then executed by the Arkham Knight.[/sp]
I never really played that series, what makes people love it?
They succeed at making you feel awesome playing as Batman.
Looks fucking amazing. Had a blast with City and Origin (didn't play Asylum much) so I know that this is just going to be fantastic. A new villain, I hope. Haven't even THOUGHT about Scarecrow since [sp]DC Universe Online[/sp]
Origin is what made me a bigger Batman fan.
Rocksteady are back to rescue Batman.
Yo when'd they get David Tennant to play the Riddler?

I'm going to upgrade my computer for this game. I'm also hype as fuck to see what Hush has been doing now that he [sp]has Bruce's face[/sp]
MGSV+MGO3 already got GOTY. Nothing this year is topping it.
nah hotline miami 2.
but this is looking SUPER great wow. i skipped over origins after hearing it was eh but this one's looking awesome. heard it's also gonna be rated M which has me curious exactly what direction this one will be taking.
I skipped Origins because it wasn't a Rocksteady game. I'm sure it's fine, I just didn't want to get burnt out when I knew next-gen Batman was eventually coming.

A lot of people skipped over Origins because Rocksteady didn't make it (Rocksteady made Asylum and City).
This though is definitely going to be a GOTY contender with MGSV and The Witcher 3.
I love how there was no pre order bullshit at the end of the trailer. I'm so tired of seeing that crap it ruins a good trailer

The game does have a preorder bonus though. The Scarecrow pack I believe.
Spot the Easter Eggs!

Didn't like Origins at all, stupid rehash, very lazy and all around you could feel that the makers of Origins didn't love the universe as much as AA and AC so I am very very glad Rocksteady is doing this again.
you could feel that the makers of Origins didn't love the universe
Honestly I thought the story was one of the game's strongest features, even with the dumb twist. I think they really did love the universe; they played around with a lot of the Batman mythos like Red Hood, Killing Joke, Year One elements, the relationship between Bruce and Alfred, Bane actually being a smart antagonist, etc.
Curious as to why they made Poison Ivy's skin human again. Maybe they like the animated series Ivy design?
I think Origins is worth a try if you grab it for cheap. It brings very little new and some of it breaks the nice flow of the previous games. There are some gameplay choices I don't like at all (especially the upgrade system where some unlocks are now stupidly locked behind challenges and side quests that force you to play a specific way) and the city feels harder to navigate through (the grappling gun seemed to have more trouble to lock on). Lastly, there are still some technical bugs.
The game does look nice, the snow effect is great, the setting is atmospheric. Soundtrack is pretty memorable, too.
The story once again features the Joker and as an origin story it makes sense. It was played safe and we were all sick of it. Third Batman game with the Joker as main baddie. Bane was pretty good but his motives and abilities didn't click with me.
The previous games are superior but Origins isn't garbage.
Jesus. Scarecrow's design is straight up nightmare fuel. Pun somewhat intended :v:
The character designs in general are just incredible. Two-Face especially looks wicked.
The game does have a preorder bonus though. The Scarecrow pack I believe.
I think the trailer stated that was PS4 exclusive, preorder is playable Harley Quinn. I think its a challenge map sorta thing though
Edit
PS4 trailer stated the Scarecrow pack, not this one
with the amount of two-face we have seen i hope his role is big, one of my slight gripes with city he was only at the start and cat-women DLC
funny joke
???
The one problem I have with Knight is the complete change in Scarecrow- sure, in Aslyum he had a sillier and higher pitched voice, but it's just slightly different enough to be weird.
Also, it's been confirmed multiple times that the Arkham Knight is completely unique character, one they had to go up to DC and if they could even make their own character. I'm willing to bet it'll be someone connected to the events made in the Arkham series.

It's [sp]The Joker.[/sp]
Does scarecrow sound like Strange to anyone else?
I never really played that series, what makes people love it?
If you've played any game with 3-dimentional combat since 2010 that wasn't in a fantasy setting it was most likely based on Arkham's combat.
If you've played any stealth sequence since 2010 it was either based on Ass Creed or Arkham.
It's [sp]The Joker.[/sp]
Oh please, only a lame knockoff of a development team would make one of the main characters more of the same!
[sp]...I hated Origin's story if you couldn't tell.[/sp]
It's hard to explain but if you're a Batman fan, you'll fucking love it.
If you have a mild Batman interest, you'll become a Batman fan.
Can confirm. After finishing Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, I'm now in the Bats Hypetrain.
Choo choo
It's probably just going to have the same boring gameplay.
