All the car accidents I've been in were minor ones, thankfully
The only bad thing that happened to me while in a car was when we were taking my brother to college and the Jeep swerved. I yelled out "OH SHIT!!!" and no one heard me. :frown:
Then I told my parents and we had a good laugh about it, though my mom was embarrassed (as she was driving).
It scared the shit out of me though. My mom and brother's side almost tipped over, they could've died. :saddowns:

Just a family members. I had to hold it for a bit while they went off and did stuff.

No. If your nose breaks from the impact of the airbag in an accident then that's a good sign you would probably be dead without it. I'm pretty sure most people would rather have a broken nose than their smashed head through the steering wheel. Seat belts, just like airbags cause bodily damage all the time in accidents. Broken ribs, noses, etc... They're there to save your life, not make you invincible.
Anyway, if OP and the driver weren't wearing their seat belts they would have been ejected out of the SUV through the windows like rag dolls and possibly killed.

Honestly it was a bit scary. The roof of the car kept moving, and I was worried it would fall on me. There was also the possibility of glass or metal scraps being shot in my direction that I thought about.
