Hey guys, one of my guitars has two humbuckers and a single setup. I was considered placing a pickguard over with a gap for only the bridge humbucker. Electronics wise, how would I go about making sure the guitar used the one pickup?

Can anyone suggest me a tutorial on Fl Studio? I want to get into music production, but have no idea on how to start.

Really good, he explains it very well.

I mean you can have your theory down to a pinch but if you don't have feeling for music how is your theory going to help you?

Is this all down to experience?[/QUOTE] The waveform can only tell so much about what it actually SOUNDS like, and yeah, you just need to read articles on the internet and experiment yourself to get the feel and general idea of compression, I know how it felt like 7-8 months ago learning it from scratch but it's actually a very interesting medium whilst also being extremely helpful with your mixdowns/mastering.

You need dynamics in your track, or else it will sound harsh and tiring to the ears, and people will just simply turn it off after a few seconds. Dynamics = the volume difference between soft and loud parts in your track.
