Not sure if it's the right place for that, but does anyone know where I can find good samples for space ambient/electro tunes?
Awesome, cheers. Only thing left now is getting an actual guitar I guess :v:
A tip from someone who is just starting to really get into guitar: Buy a guitar for the style you want to play.... I've been having my acoustic guitar for over 10 years. I love it. The problem is that I wanted to play a lot of rock songs. Not being able to use distortion and whatnot stifled my interest in guitar for a while. 2 years ago, I set out to buy an electric guitar. I found a beautiful Ibanez RG5EX1. I loved playing it. It was like a breath of fresh air...... until I started trying to play new songs. Not knowing too much, I purchased a guitar which has a Tremolo Bridge (with a whammy bar). What I didn't realize was that this type of bridge is not suitable for crazy or low tunings usually found in hard rock songs. It's excellent for alternative rock and such, but I can't tune it in ways I could if I had one with a solid bridge. (I know I could "block" it, but that's just a band-aid) Realizing that, I'm now looking at getting a PRS Tremonti SE for hard rock and keeping my Ibanez for alternative and such.
Hey, I'm looking to try and get into electronic music, is there any free online music theory guide that you guys would recommend? I'm having a hard time just messing about until things start to sound bearable.

I have learned 3 chords so far. Does anyone have a good and free online tutorial or something you can recommend?

I have two modes when I play bass Smiling like a retard 100% hair [editline]2nd August 2014[/editline] PS I am 100% envious of that audience, most I've ever played in front of is like, 100 people.
The "Cousin It" of bass :v: 'Tis why I tie mine back :D
My Oxygen 49 midi keyboard broke :( it underwent too much abuse in the past 7 years I guess... It is a great piece of hardware though, M-Audio makes top notch stuff as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to get an Axiom 49 now, nothing like weighted keys.
I love the feeling of ordering new sheet music.
got an email from a fan asking if i'll be making more music i don't get email from fans often but whenever i do it really motivates me and makes me happy
I'm going to be part of an EP with 4 other producers after I was invited to join by one of the guys who started it. Pretty excited.
lmao the guy making the cover art is charging $180 so no profits for me basically yay!!
Ah that sucks man, but you should post it here when you have it done!
Nice I have been asked on an audition with a hip hop band as a sax/keys player. Jams pay off... Had a musical dry spell for 3 years or something, really needed that.
Ah that sucks man, but you should post it here when you have it done!
I absolutely will!
lmao the guy making the cover art is charging $180 so no profits for me basically yay!!
That's a pretty decent prize for some cover art whatever way you're looking at it, how much did you expect it would cost?
That's a pretty decent prize for some cover art whatever way you're looking at it, how much did you expect it would cost?
I didn't know what to expect to be honest, but I appreciate the cost being what it is right now, some of my other artists I had going were charging 1-3k!!!
I didn't know what to expect to be honest, but I appreciate the cost being what it is right now, some of my other artists I had going were charging 1-3k!!!
I got shocked too when I went around shopping for cover arts as well, but then you realize that they too are artists as oneself and making something good takes time and effort, and then you start to appreciate artists like the one you've seem to have found who charges pretty nice prices considering what you get. :) 1-3k is a lot of money, I don't think I'll ever be able to pay someone that much money for cover art :v: There's this guy over here: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1414650 Who charges pretty decent prices as well, he has a really nice style too and he charges me $100 for a 900x900 piece, which I think is a pretty good price considering what I asked for. Is the cover art for your upcoming EP? :)

There was vibrato in that lead i obviously didn't do a good job making it stand out enough lmao
