This in mind, the following action must be taken:
Raid her room, look for a cheat sheet made by said 34 year old man to help her read the messages, make a copy of it, and return it. While you're at it steal her phone, and register it with a service like SMS Officer. Intercept all her messages and decode them.
You don't even need a service if you can enable SMS Forwarding on her phone to your email or your phone or something.
